i listened to tha carter III at the gym and though i want to give it a few listens before i make a judgment, a lot of it seems kind of meh.

i mean, i almost hope people call it soft so he comes back harder on the next mixtape, but you'd think he was saving the real jewels for his commercial release and that doesn't seem to be the case.

The copy that was leaked is not the final album, right?

1-2 songs are not on there and 1-2 songs that are included were not put on the track list.

I too was very shocked about the track with Fab and Juelz making it, despite the fact I like that jam.

wayne is nothing special and i wont go out of my way to listen to him. the only hip hop i really look forward to these days is anything involving Lupe. no one is even close to him right now

What about all the 'Milli' outtakes that were supposed to be on the album to replace skits?

TC3 is incredibly meh imo. A few good songs in 3peat, Mr Carter, Got money (almost feel ashamed liking this poppy of a song but I do), that juelz and fab song, but that's about it (although I have to admit that lollipop song is catchy, but that doesn't count in my book because he doesn't even rap). Lil Wayne's current flow I just can't get into (this is coming from some one that loved Carter 1 and D2 btw) and i can't stand the fact that he just rambles through nearly every song from random topic to random topic filling it up with weak ass punchlines.

Production was good but was dissapointed in it, I guess I just figured it would have incredible beats...Kanye and Just's beats were the best, Banner's beats were wierd.

I would consider it the weakest carter yet. No hate, just my disapointed opinion.

Not sure, it has been out for awhile. It is awesome. The other CRS song, not so much (Everybody Nose remix - I think those are the only 2).

Have you heard this before? Kenna is kinda love or hate, and I personally don't think this is one of his best (well, maybe it's one of his better ones, but second tier) but I thought this was cool: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=igyHenGrBZc

I am one of the biggest Wayne riders on this site and the Carter III sucks so much ass.
There are maybe 3 good songs on it. And on Milli he got killed on his own ****.

What I figure is that his label figured out that if he released he would sell huge (which he has) and any more postponements would kill sales. So he had to release this incredibly weak garbage.

Lupe is on top right now but alot of people who keep upping him are white backpackers who think its cooler than everyone else to be into "conscious" rap

I really think this needs some more love. He's an underground rapper from boston. I found this from another forum I occasionally visit.

-also I would recommend some DJ Greyboy...

meh...there are supposed to be a few more but from these I'm really looking forward to the Busta, Raekwon & Ice Cube ones. Could do without Ne-Yo and it sucks that a Cool & Dre beat is being wasted on Lil Wayne but I'm still excited for the album.

"My Life" with Lil' Wayne (Prod. by Cool & dre)
"Angel" with common (Prod. by Kanye West)
"Camera Phone" with Ne-Yo (Prod. by Cool & dre)
"Thug and a gentleman" with Ne-Yo (Prod. by JR Rotem)
"Let Us Live" with Christine Michelee (Prod. by Scott Storch)

yeah it is which i normally wouldn't really like but half of them are probably just gonna be on the hook so i guess it isn't a big deal.

but its pretty disappointing to not see any BWS type features like ya boy, juice etc...

i like MF DOOM alot he is pretty dope. search him on youtube you wont be dissapointed i promise.

i like to think i know a thing or 2 about hip hop. really i guess its kinda subjective... but i really think if you compare mf doom to say lupe fiasco, u realize that lupe fiasco is garbage.

also, check out some classic Gza, (anything by Gza is pretty dope IMO)
