Tried the McDonald's jalapeno burger. Pretty good. Jalapenos had some heat. Will eat again.

All I am seeing is the jalapeño double, with white cheddar cheese and two types of jalapeños. Jalapeno crisps and pickled jalapeños. With 2 beef patties and ranch sauce. Is this what you guys are getting?

I have only got the cheddar brisket at Firehouse, and haven't even considered getting anything else there. I've had it 4 times I think.

There's a Quiznos right next to my new job, so I went yesterday. Was gonna get a large sub for like $8.xx or something but they had a promo that was 2 large subs for 12, so I got that. Two honey mustard, chicken, bacon, and Swiss subs on wheat. I've seen some hate on Quiznos itt but I really liked it. I don't go there often so maybe their other stuff is **** but this one was pretty decent.

Yeah I don't get the Quizno's hate either - tastier than Subway (albeit way less healthy). Chicken carbonara is pretty great - so is their prime rib (omg not real prime rib!)

Anyone who thinks Subway is better than Quizno's (talking about taste of the sandwiches here) is clinically insane.

Impressive that you put away 2 large subs, Champ.

I used to go to the one by my school all the time. Would alternate between honey mustard chicken and baja chicken. It closed down a while back though.

Tried one of those chicken bacon clubhouse sandwiches from mcdonalds last nite. Not bad value considering I got a free medium fry with it. 7/10

Nobody thinks subway tastes better than quiznos.

The point is subway is way better value than quiznos, which is true.

The Quiznos hate is due to the fact that it gets destroyed at its price point. It is inferior to the firehouses, jimmy johns, and (for those who like it) paneras - not even getting into the local shops in any good sized city which tend to crush all the aforementioned at that same higher price.

It seems pretty clear that the market has split into customers who are willing to pay that higher price and those who are seeking pure value. Quiznos has a slightly premium offering that is both vastly inferior to sandwich offerings in the higher price point and notably more expensive than the ones in the lower. Bad spot to be in.

What? How does that comment even make any sense? We're not talking about international falafel house here, it's a generic sandwich menu. If subway has something you want, I'm pretty sure you can find an analog at Quiznos.
