This site says McRib returning at "select locations" next week. Pretty sure that means 0% chance of seeing it in Detroit.

tried out the chicken chips at taco bell. decent crispiness but nothing special and I just wished the nacho cheese was bbq sauce after the first one. reasonable quantity for two bucks

Just had the Gobbler, it was excellent. Also had a buffalo chicken slider, roast beef slider (wonderful with pile of horse sauce) and a free loaded curly fries. Very satisfied.

They used to have home style fries pretty sure. They were decent. Probably easier to go all curly if they're more popular.

Got coffee at a McD's this morning, nothing about the McRib but they did have a sign for a mushroom swiss signature sandwich, may have to give that a go.

The college that I went to had those same triangle potato cakes that they serve at Arby's. Deep fried and served buffet style. My go-to breakfast freshman year was anywhere from 4 to 6 of those with two scoops of scrambled eggs on top & salsa verde. Arby's brings back such solid memories. I'm upset the Vegas locations don't have breakfast like the ones back in Maryland/Delaware. That Bacon, Egg, Ham, & Cheese Croissant was amazing and the croissant was about the size of one of their double beef & cheddars.

Arbys potato cakes might be my favorite fast food potato item. Used to be the bacon cheddar potato wedges at JiTB, but those have fallen off in quality the last few years.

Taco Bell seems to have gotten more, um, ambitious in their (non-dollar menu) pricing lately. A basic shredded chicken burrito is up to $2.39 here, it was $1.59 not that long ago. A quesarito combo is six bucks.
