had the xxl steak taco. would give it a 7/10. not terrible, the ranch or whatever had a nice taste and steak seemed to be better. my problem was just that each bite you couldnt get a good assortment of everything. it was either a bite of steak. or a bite of lettuce/tomato/cheese.

chili cheese potato grillers are really great tho

Had the Bacon Insider burger from JOTB, not terrible 4/10..just as salty as you would imagine.

I lived outside DC until 08, in NH for a few years after that, and in South NJ with frequent trips to Philly for the most recent three years, and I've never seen a whataburger I don't think. I am feeling deprived.

8 wings for 5 from the place across the street is better than 5 for 3 from McDonald's. Wasn't too impressed with the Mighty Wings when I had them.

at a bar you have to tip and sides cost more. i thought the mighty wings were better than a lot of bar wings too

My area's McD's all offer the now discounted Mighty Wings for 3 for $2, 5 for $3, and 10 for $5. Is this true for most other people's areas also? (The national articles about the Mighty Wings flop only mention the new 5 for $3 price point.)

If so, the silly priced McD's might just be trying to avoid the 50c price point. Plus, I wouldn't be surprised if they sell even more 5 for $3 Mighty Wings than other McD's, due to customer psychology about the "great deal" that the 5 pc is relative to others.

And perhaps there's a bonus offered by corporate for selling high volumes of Wings. Or maybe the 5 pc size is the only one that corporate mandated the discount on, so they just left the others the same. That happens at other places too, even non-FF businesses.

My Popeye's is having a Customer Appreciation Day March 10th, 8 pieces mixed for 5 bucks. Not sure if it's just local or national.
