I passed on it when a bunch of people were complaining about something to do with "Filters" Not really sure what they mean.

But that's part of what makes it so good. Short series.

Complete guess, but from watching the trailer, I'd say it's the style they use. Looks like they film real people then put it through filters to animate it.

I've seen a few things do this recently and personally am not a fan of it. For some reason I find it hard to watch.

Yea, I watched the 1st few episodes, will continue.

Anyone watch Alex Rider on IMDB TV? (Its free on the app) they made it. They already renewed it for Season 2 and it just came out.

Would be pretty easy to Change thread title to Netflix/All streaming services “Watch Instantly” or Smth similar. I’m sure we collectively have missed some good recommendations bc some people only post about Netflix.

If we're talking about animated series i'd definitely recommend "the dragon prince." I watched it earlier this year reluctantly as it looked rather childish but it's really good.

I've given up on the series Undone and the Keanu Reeves movie, A Scanner Darkly, which are both meant to be very good, due to that style. It's called Rotoscoping.

Cool technique, and I appreciate artistic side, and the work that goes into it, just don't want to watch more than a few minutes.

Stumbled across Honey Boy last night on prime, and thought it was good.

It was written by Shia LeBeouf about his early career with his Dad. He plays his Dad, and probably really captured what an absolute **** his Dad was. I mean just an absolute POS that mentally assaults(and sometimes physically) his son at literally every opportunity. Really helps explain his troubles/struggles throughout life. Def feel different about him now.

I also rec staying for the closing credits.

This thread is history. It started in 2007 at the dawn of streaming video. We didn't even call it streaming yet but "watch instantly". You can't dick around with that!
