Agreed. It's hyperbolic to emphasize the absurdity. I thought it was well done overall, but interestingly, I wrote almost this exact same script about 2 years ago, except mine was not as comical. I was obviously inspired by the politicization of covid-19, and our inability to agree on basic shared science and data.
Whether you like or disliked the film, the point it's making is extremely important imho.
