the first season of zoo is so painful to watch. apparently it gets better, but this acting is the worst.

He's still pretty young, and it shows sometimes in some bits being rough around the edges or too heavy-handed, but in like 5-10 years I think he's going to be doing really smart and amazing stuff.

I don't think I've seen What yet, I'll check that out.
Following up with the above, I watched What last night - Make Happy is way, way, way, way, way better. Like, if I watched What and that was my first exposure to Bo Burnham, I would probably have not bothered to tune in to Make Happy, which would be a shame because MH is amazing.

new doc on the Newtown shooting in 2012....really hard to watch. Parents of children killed in the shooting talking directly to the camera.

You're not alone, felt the same way.

Watched Oklahoma City and thought it was really good. About the bombing, but it covers several incidents that lead up to it such as Ruby Ridge, Waco, and the White Power movement.

I know it's an old show but I've been glued to Life Below Zero. That woman Sue that lives like 300 miles from the nearest town cracks me up. Watched Season 1 this past week and started Season 2 today.

I don't mean to nit but I call bull**** on the temperatures. They'll say it's -20 and you can't even see their breath when they talk. They also seem to have an adverse relationship with the government yet I bet they all enjoy cashing in that sweet Permanent Fund Dividend.

Anyone else not know wtf "HCF" stands for??? can we institute a policy of not abbreviating shows or movies unless It's either obvious or at least been referred to in the previous ~20 posts ITT?

I mean If someone referred to AD or BB ITT we could all guess it's breaking Bad or Arrested Development. but HCF?????

Full disclose I watched Season week by week as it aired on AMC and though it dragged just a bit, but it is a great show that seemed to find it's stride in the 2nd season. I can't think of a show that improved more between it's 1st and 2nd season.

Small Crimes with Sir Jamie Lannister. This one was a lot like most NF originals, good but far from great. SC really stands out in that I think it could have been a great movie with a slightly tighter script and higher budget. Blah, worth a watch at any rate.

Man I'm so numb and have a 6" thick leather hide and there's no way I'm gonna put myself through that Newtown doc.

Not me, I'm actually loving Season 2. Def doesn't have the initial shock/excitement of Season 1, but I like/know the characters more now.

MST3K (Mystery Science Theater 3 Thousand) has been hilarious through 3 episodes. Don't think I ever watched it back in the day. Are old episodes available somewhere?

Watched Ruby Ridge which is brushed on in Oklahoma City. Also pretty darn good. If you liked Oklahoma City you'll likely enjoy this. They used many clips from this in the section about it in Oklahoma City.

Really crazy how far they went to get one guy in custody for sawing off shotguns.

I saw the first two episodes of Master of None, I did not laugh once and quit on the show.

Should I give it another chance?

I was a big fan of Aziz Ansari at one point, especially his RAAAAAAAANDY comedy act.
