Watched the Dennis Miller standup "America 180".

He used to be sharp, witty and political savvy with his comedy.

He's jumped the shark.

Or even worse,jumped Rush Limbaugh.

Worn out diatribe, been done before and better.

Saw a movie called " Stretch",about a limo drivers wild night.

Kinda a teen comedy for adults,in the vein of Crank or Girls Guns and Gambling (if you've seen it,if not, see it)

Not too deep, kinda Hollywood ending, but it keeps a good pace to kill 90 mins.

Yipes!! Not only is still recycling the twitter bit, but 1/2 the material is already on CD. I guess when you're that baked and telling jokes to people who are baked, you can get away with that. So glad I didn't purchase this or id have to go off on him. We have a few mutual friends so I bet I could get in touch with him

Yes. I thought it was decent but to say Miller has lost a step would be a big understatement. Plenty of red meat for the Fox crowd.

infernal affairs is streaming. superior to its remake, the departed, in every conceivable way.

I recently watched and enjoyed Mr. Nobody, a science fiction film about the last mortal human (Nemo Nobody) on Earth as he approaches his death at the age of 117.

Nemo tries to tell the story of his life to a psychiatrist and a journalist. However, his stories massively contradict each other.

The film discusses chaos theory, string theory, and the butterfly effect a lot.

It's got a 7.9 on IMDB and has earned a reputation as a cult film.

Re: The Borgias vs Borgia

After researching which one to watch, I went with Borgia. It's lower rated on imdb, but that's probably because it's much harder to follow.

I gave it 5 stars. Something I'll definitely rewatch in the future.

I highly recommend this film!

It's one of my top 5 favorite movies of all-time. Really well done. Watch the extended version if you can.

edit: and as you can see in the picture, the main character is played by the awesome Jared Leto

Grew up a huge Miller fan. Was a big fan of him on SNL, stayed up late to watch the Dennis Miller Live. Then 9/11 happened and he turned into an unfunny Rush Limbaugh clone. I saw him perform live pretty soon after, and he was just awful. Typical right-wing jingoistic crap. He was getting booed like crazy.

Does that mean that you have access to "Metastasis"? The practically shot-for-shot Latino remake of Breaking Bad?

I watched some of Metastasis on Spanish tv here by accident before I knew it existed, that was a trip. Main guy was a dead ringer for Cranston.

I have pretty much all his CD's, and they all start out like this:

"Hey everybody..."
Then he does a couple of quick bits about where he is. And then the twitter bit.

I posted that before I saw it, and it went down just the same.

Snowpiercer

Definitely worth the watch.

Easily jumps up to near the top of my list in terms of dystopian/apocalyptic movies. The constant build up really keet me at the edge of my seat when I originally just planned on having it on in the background.

The imdb synopsis:

"Set in a future where a failed climate-change experiment kills all life on the planet except for a lucky few who boarded the Snowpiercer, a train that travels around the globe, where a class system emerges."

I'm no expert, but I was under the impression that it changes your DNS, not IP. I don't think Hola alone makes you anonymous.
