Well to be fair with Americans recent political situation... guys like Bill Nye & Tyson have had to go on TV a lot to try and defend basic science against really stupid people who try to deny it and even worse are now working on rolling back decades of progress. I can't blame them for becoming jaded *******s lol. Put yourself in their shoes, it'd be hard not too.

Yea I'm pretty annoyed by her so far. 6-7 eps through season 1 or so. I really like the lead salesman guy, and moderately like the engineer (Gordon?).

Watching with my gf though and she actually likes the girl/hates the guy lol.

The Casting Jon Benet trailer might be the most confusing thing I've ever seen. Actually had to look up wtf it is. It's a documentary in which the filmmakers interview people under the premise of casting them for a fake movie about the murder.

I haven't watched it yet, but looking up info on it led me to another film with a similar style called "Kate plays Christine" about newscaster Christine Chubbuck who committed suicide on air in 1974. There is also a film starring Rebecca Hall and Micheal C. Hall that was released recently as well called "Christine."

I can't believe I had never heard of the story before and thought it was fascinating

^ this is a bit old (June of last year) but I just watched this - I liked it a lot, the themes he's getting at with the interaction between performer and audience and culture (tying back to the celebrity lipsyncing, country music stuff) are really interesting. He's still pretty young, and it shows sometimes in some bits being rough around the edges or too heavy-handed, but in like 5-10 years I think he's going to be doing really smart and amazing stuff.
