Last Kingdom is great, Has a real Braveheart feel to it and really is a great story. Plus I can't stop Saying Uhtred, son of Uhtred.

Yes, Watch it, atleast the first season. I know most americans have atched it but if you havent, its a great show to start on NETFLIX.

also im now 10 eps in the office season 9. season 8 and so far 9 arent as abysmal as some have made it out to be. sad that its coming to an end tho

Yea I watched the whole thing with my fiance too, was kind of intrigued because the show makes you think there's some interesting unknown piece of the puzzle or some great twist or something. We just wanted the show to be over for this and briefly considered just skipping to the last episode.

Nope, it just kinda ended anticlimactically and I regret watching it.

Do not watch Lost. I have two episodes left and it is truly horrendous. The only reason I'm finishing is because I made a deal with somebody that I would.

And no, it wouldn't be worth just watching the first couple of seasons, which might have been ok. Watch something smart.

Yup. It can be a bit much at times, but I dig the general theme/vibe. In for more.

Disagree. Yes, it faltered towards the end but what a ride. I thought it was mostly truly great television.

Can anyone give me an elite recommendation? I haven't followed any netflix or TV for months, but was looking to get into a show with my girlfriend that we can watch together weekly.

I liked shows such as:

-Suits
-House of Cards
-Game of Thrones
-Stand up comedy/comedy in general

She likes:
-Stand up comedy/comedy in general
-Sherlock
-Game of Thrones (she's definitely not huge into violence in shows [lol, I know right] but she likes the show due to production/storyline being great and me liking it)

Anyway. I have no clue about what's new/what's good. We both enjoy well done shows/storyline and stuff that isn't just an explosion of sensory overload.. character development/plot is needed. If anyone has any good recs please let me know! Cheers

I thought this was a documentary. Then I realized within 5 minutes I was watching "The Twilights" central casting act a suicide story. Watched 45 minutes of first episode and that will be it.

On netflix:
Firefly
Mad Men

Downton Abbey is the best show to watch as a couple. It's on Amazon though.
