The first 2 seasons of Children's Hospital are available. really funny show. Each episode is only about 10 minutes long.

Incorrect. It's still good by tv comedy standards but it's not as good as first 3 seasons.

Good for TV comedy standards =/= good.

I still haven't seen season 5 but I thought 3 and 4 were pretty disappointing.

Children's Hospital is surprisingly good. As much as I love the league and identify with it 100% it's definitely been on a steady decline. Re-watched season 1 recently, incredible.

(I assume you mentioned CH because of the crossover actors with The League, also the CH spinoff NTSFSUVSD or whatever...?)

Are there any good gambling or Vegas related movies on netflix? Searching 'gambling' or 'vegas' doesn't really give me much. I was hoping Casino was on netflix but no luck. FWIW, I've seen Rounders obviously and the movie Croupier (with Clive Owen), both which are on netflix.

Anything else worth my time? The "because you watched" list or whatever is such crap sometimes as it gives me movies that really have nothing to do with what I just watched. Without a paddle is not like the Walking Dead. Thanks, but no thanks, netflix. lol

Hard Eight I believe is still on there, it's the first feature film by P.T. Andersen I believe. I liked it a lot, look for a show stealing performance in one scene from Phillip Seymour Hoffman.

If you have hbo go I saw Two for the Money on there recently. It's pretty bad lol but it's about mccinaughey and Pacino betting foosball games so it gets thumbs up from me.

Last but definitely not least, perhaps the greatest gambling movie of all time, The Hustler stars Paul Newman and Jackie Gleason and it is a stone cold classic. Every gambler and movie lover should see it. I can't remember right now if it's on netflix or hbo go ( I know it's one of them) but it's worth seeking out even if you have to pay for it.

Someone mentioned it earlier but I'm really digging From Dusk Till Dawn: the series. I was a big fan of the movie and the series follows it extremely closely and nicely. Good acting, very well produced. I'm 5 episodes in and it has really gotten my attention.

Enjoyed Blue Ruin. Thanks. Not mentioned earlier, Jan Brady has a small part in the movie. I know who cares, but I had a mad crush on her some 40 years ago

Dusk till Dawn the tv series is decent, Probably would be better if it wasn't TV14. Robert Rodriguez does directs a few episodes himself btw.

Californication? Awesome! I stopped watching on season 3 or 4 when I switched to WI only, it will be fun to catch up with the rest of the seasons.

I'm glad this came up. I was going to ask if Californication was good or not so now I know. So is it like Dexter in that the later seasons aren't nearly as good?

Season one was good. Fell off a lot in S2 and that's where I stopped watching.

Inland_Taipan, thanks for posting that list, not sure if you're the one that posts it every month but I always appreciate it.

Here's some recommendations from the last several weeks:

- Once Upon a Time in the West - classic western
- Ip Man - awesome martial arts and a great story
- Blue Ruin - well done tiny budget thriller
- Invasion of the Body Snatchers (1978) - I liked it almost as much as the original from the 50's
- The Prey - fun French thriller - The Conspiracy - cool little faux documentary
- Unknown (not the Liam Neison one) - awesome concept and 1st act, decent the rest of the way, but a little disappointing because it could've been great
- The Yards - decent drama with a pre-big time Wahlberg, J Phoenix, and C Theron
