Am i right in being down right stunned at this? Everyone must have saw at least one rocky movie?

That isn't that strange then. I have never watched any of the Rocky movies either and I'm old enough to have been drawn to the popular ones. If he is 26 unless he was bored on a Sunday afternoon I don't see how he would have come across them.

Rocky III is a required element of high school civics courses in 22 states iirc.

I guess the question I have for a lot of you is, why have you not tried these things? Using some of the commonly mentioned foods as an example, aren't you curious? If you have tried peanut butter once and didn't like it then ok. Haven't you people ever tried something that you didn't expect to like and been surprised?

I for one believe that life is about the experiences and many of the things in this list blow my mind. I'm not trying to be overly critical but some of you people would be well served by trying some of these things you have never tried. What is the worst thing that can happen? If you don't like it then you never have it again but I will bet that many of the things some of you have listed will be greatly enjoyed by most of you.

I mean do you want to be 80 and try a ****ing mushroom for the first time or a cheese burger or peanut butter and say, "God damn, I have been denying myself this pleasure my whole life based upon some bias I developed as a child."

NOt trying something because the opportunity hasn't arisen is one thing but to deny yourself something that you very well may enjoy if you try it is a totally different animal. I bet that for most of you there are psychological reasons behind your unwillingness to try these things, many of which stem from early childhood.

Oh, I have never cried in a movie that I can remember. I just can't get moved like that.

I get choked up several times an episode while watching Ken Burns' The Civil War, or when sports guys retire, but otherwise I share your deficiency.

Although I can't cry in movies and rarely cry in real life either, thinking of somebody that doesn't laugh as earlier mentioned itt, is probably one of the more depressing things I have read, and if true actually makes me feel like crying.

I've never seen a Rocky movie either. I'm waiting until marriage.
