Never. I like Android a lot, but the difference in utility I get from the two OS is way too small to warrant putting Android on my iPhone (even assuming I preferred android, not sure i do). It's a phone FFS.

anyone got tips on themes i should search for in cydia?
i just figured that winterboard crap out.

I have a problem with the featured themes though because when I enter an app it removes the statusbar when i press home button.. and I have to lock n unlock to get it back.

Try sites like modmyi, macthemes, macthemes2, etc and there will be a list of themes which you can check out and see which you like.

Jog, what version do you have, of the software? 3.1.2 or 3.1.3. Just google enable internet tethering with your version and you'll find a good guide.

so i ended up just getting an international data plan through rogers in canada,, but now i get this popup when i try to connect:

"Could not activate cellular data network
You are not subscribed to a cellular data service"

about my phone:

my friend unlocked it and jailbroke it for me to use an AT&T pay as you go in USA
Version: 3.1.2(7D11)
Carrier: rogers 5.0
Model: MB631C
Model firmware: 04.26.08

Confirmed, one of the easier jailbreaks. My 3GS 3.13 is jailbroken.

I'm still back on 3.0.2 because I was tethering and didn't want to bother with figuring out a new way to do it. Those of you who have used this new jailbreak: how hard is it to get tethering working? And is it necessary to reconstruct all the changes I've made an non-iTunes apps I've installed, if I upgrade and re-jailbreak?

So the tutorial for "Backup Your SHSH Blobs Using Firmware Umbrella [Mac]" had me put it into Restore Mode to find my ECID. Is there some way to get out of Restore Mode without actually spending the 20 minutes to restore via iTunes?

Oops: Recovery mode, not restore mode.

Dont know if anybody here plays Drop7, but I am absolutely addicted to it. It's pretty much my go to game whenever I'm bored.

Anyways, I've been trying my ass off to beat the high score and yesterday I broke the all-time high score.

As lame as it sounds, it was a pretty cool feeling to be #1.

This may be a question I already know the answer to. If you have standard MLB.tv for the pc is there any way to watch games without paying the fifteen bucks for the at bat app? I figure there's no way around it but it's worth a shot if anyone knows
