Sure it is. If a camera was set up to be perfectly level you could detect the curvature. Try it!

So we can see a boat let's say in UK from US with a high powered camera? Show me and I'll shut the **** up about Earth.

You as an object are denser than the air around you on the diagonals/up but not denser than the earth. How does this make no sense??

Ive shown you pictures across hundreds of miles that show no curvature. I can show you all kinds of long distances that have no curvature. I cannot show you a picture from the UK to US because there is too much atmosphere in the way.
05-06-2017 , 06:38 PM
Too much atmosphere. GTFO. The only reason you can see further away is because you're at an elevated position. You aren't see flat to flat in all your stupid examples.

I feel like this thread has too much flat earth and not enough about the transgender agenda (or the Transgenda as I like to call it).

We can't tell whether or not it makes sense because you've yet to explain why density causes objects to behave this way.
05-06-2017 , 06:57 PM
1bigot, how old is the earth? Have we ever been visited by extraterrestrial life?

I am not sure what you mean by "on the diagonals/up." can you rephrase?

So you're saying that larger and more dense objects attract smaller and less dense objects?

Buoyancy is a result of gravity. Otherwise there would be no reason less dense objects would tend to rise other than go down or sideways.

These are what planets and stars look like with high optical zoom. That should blow your mind.
What part is mind blowing? Are there supposed to be pieces of string holding them up, or what?

Diagonals/up just meant all the surrounding air. Earth, you, then the air that surrounds you.

I've made no mention of attraction. Cmon now...

lol. Think about the pressure exerted on the object. Ground pressure upwards is strongest, pressure on all sides is equal, pressure from above is weakest. Which way does it go?

My man I've just shown you a video zoom of a planet in which it looks nothing like the pictures youve seen in textbooks and your mind isnt blown??
05-06-2017 , 08:44 PM
The first video how are we even supposed to know what they are zooming onto?

As to the second one I really don't get what you think we should see. I'm curious how you think there are craters on the bottom of the moon if it just hovers over earth. If we are in a dome wtf is causing those craters? Where do meteors and meteorites come from?
05-06-2017 , 08:48 PM
I want to hear more about the sun being closer to the earth than SF is to NYC
05-06-2017 , 09:04 PM
Speaking of minds being blown, it looks like someone at NASA inadvertently uploaded a view behind the ice wall earlier today on their official website and it pretty much exposes what some of us have always known.

Of course the Illuminati was on top of it right away. Fortunately, I managed to grab a screenshot of the pic as evidence before it got taken down. What do you have to say now you gullible globeheads?

99,

I think that photo debunks PEAK OIL too, since it appear that dino-juice is a renewable resource after all.

For one thing the planets in that video were just specks. For another, most pictures in textbooks are artist's depictions.

That one I'm a believer in.

How do you know the earth isnt an infinite column and we are at the top of it?

LOL econophile

Quote:
do you have any statistics on FE belief over time?
Quote:
what you linked to are statistics on how often people are searching for the term "flat earth." do you understand the difference between this and the number of people who believe in flat earth?

flat earth still has a long way to go until it's as big of a myth as the easter bunny or santa claus
Quote:
are you arguing that the more people that believe something, the more likely it is to be true? that line of reasoning doesn't really work in your favor.

LOL why didn't you start with your last post, then? LOL

I deny people are searching this.... IT DOESN'T MATTER IF PEOPLE ARE SEARCHING FOR THIS

Quote:
I don't understand why anyone would think there guys are trolling when it's as clear as the earth is round that they are just stupid and crazy.
Yeah, it's as clear as it is looking at the flat horizon no matter where you are or where you can take a camera. We've all seen television and listened to our teachers our whole lives, and questioning all that would be CRAZY, amirite?

Quote:
do you realize that all of the theoretical arguments that you have presented against a spherical earth are logically flawed?
Right so why can't we see curvature unless its given to us, then? LOL

Quote:
the particular argument you are advancing here suffers from: "Appeal to the stone (argumentum ad lapidem) – dismissing a claim as absurd without demonstrating proof for its absurdity."
Occams Razor + the big bang = an ignored question

Quote:
i've also considered the empirical evidence you have presented, and i haven't found any of it compelling, especially when weighed against the much more abundant and rigorous empirical evidence that is more consistent with a spherical earth than with a flat earth.
I've weighed the previous browsing session vs my life of indoctrination, and I've decided it's impossible. Truth takes time to digest. It's in your head now at least.

Quote:
It's probably because most people who believe in flat Earth are poorly educated and lack $$$$.
You speak on behalf of reason and logic I assume?

Quote:
BigOT, moo, in your version of FE, is the planar earth accelerating upwards at 9.8. m/s ^2 ?
No. Only globeheads are saying this to misrepresent the model.

is adam savage lying when he says he can see the curvature of the earth here?

Quote:
do you think i'm in on the conspiracy as well? i have a ph.d.
LOLED AT THAT

K, you're more indoctrinated than most of us which explains your ire and conviction. All that time and money spent for higher 'education' obviously you'll react this way. There are a lot of hard, painful truths everyone has to go through when waking up. You'll be fine.

Quote:
A quick search of Moo's posting history would confirm that this is completely serious. Gamergate thread, conspiracy theory threads, etc.

Tho to be fair threads like GG are pretty bad top to bottom. Even regs like Grego were cringeworthy in there.
Hey, we've all fallen for psyops before. Trump is bad, right? SJWs are bad, right? lol whatever you're not gregorio, sorry. it'd have been better if he made this comment LOL
05-06-2017 , 10:51 PM
moo,

since you have trouble comprehending the english language at a grade-school level, i'm not sure we can make much more progress. sorry that the education system failed you.
05-06-2017 , 11:13 PM
You'd say that if you spent some 20+ years working towards a phd. That's a LOT of indoctrination.

Going back to

Why does it matter?

It demonstrates density.. Light things are on the top, and heavy things are on the bottom. So obviously the heavier things should be lower, right? DUH obv y'know!? But what comes outside of the picture?

The bolt is above the glass, because the glass is heavier. The glass is above a table, because the table is heavier.. The table is above the floor, because the floor is heaver... the floor is above the earth, because...

EARTH IS HEAVIER. WHAT DO YOU NEED GRAVITY FOR? FAKING THE GLOBE, THAT'S WHAT.

RIP THE GLOBE 1492 - RIGHT NOW
