I'm pretty sure anyone can look at a quarter and know who is on it but that doesn't mean people remember/know it without looking.

I was trying to think about who's on the quarter. At first I was like it's obv Washington, but then I remembered he was on the dollar and he couldn't possibly be both. It's seriously horse**** that Washington gets two things.

plus, washington is a pretty epic historical figure. dude basically stood up against an empire. the revolution is one of my favorite stories of all time.. such a sick backstory to our nation. I'll let him be on as many currencies as he likes to be on.

Eisenhower was on the 1 dollar coin from 1971-1979 (the big one) before it was replaced with the Susan B Anthony Dollar (The one that looks like a quarter).
