NLH, 3ppl, B has 51 chips, A and C have tons more

A bets 50 on flop, B goes allin 51, C calls 51, can A raise?

preflop, A is sb, B is bb, C is btn; blinds 25-50, C calls 50, A calls 50, B goes allin 51, can C raise? (or if C calls, could A raise?)

is it different online vs. live?

No. However, there have been numerous cases of home games, bar games, etc who are clueless about the rules and have all kinds of non-standard interpretations.

What's the best way to turn my Star's FPP into riches? I see some bonuses you can buy and I assume have to clear. Is there a way to get straight cash? Is there a level I need? (silver now, should get gold some months)

Two questions relating to live casino poker:

What is a kill pot err game?

What does a 1/2-10 spread for a limit game mean?

Kill pot is where someone wins 2 hands in a row in a limit game, and gets a kill button. They will put out a bet of either double or 1.5x for a half kill game the big blind, and will have last action preflop if no one raises. If there is a raise, they act in turn. During a kill pot the bet sizes will double for each street (or be 1.5 as big for a half kill game). Not a perfect description but I think you get the idea.

1-2-10 spread means there is a 1 and 2 dollar small and big blind. When betting you have the option of betting anything from $2-10. You will have to at least double what the person who raised before you did though. Ex: UTG raises $5 to $7 total. You could call the 7, or make it 12 (a $5 raise), 13, 14, 15, 16, or 17 (a $10 raise). If you made it 17, the next player would only have the option to call fold or make it $27.

I'm not sure what you're confused about - Consensus is that it was a terrible ruling. It happens.

Little bit confusing about the term 3 betting. So preflop, someone raises, is that 1 bet or 2 bet. Then you raise on the button that would make it 3 bet? Does this term also apply postflop if you check/raise someone is that 2 or 3 bet?

3bet always refers to the first reraise. as in Player A bets, Player B raises, and Player A 3bets.

this can be preflop or postflop.

Preflop: small blind posts a blind, big blind posts a blind, utg raises, button 3bets. (see how the utg raise is considered the "2bet" the same way it's called a raise).

Postflop: utg bets, utg+1 raises, button 3bets.

you won't find many people talking about 1betting or 2betting, but people will use 4bet to mean a re-reraise. 5bets are pretty rare -- either it's limit and the cap has been reached, or it's no-limit and the 4bet or 5th bet was probably all-in.

yes, any of these bets can be a checkraise. utg checks, utg+1 checks, button bets, utg checkraises, utg+1 3bets.

3b=reraise.

where did the term 'level' comes from?

I know it means to post something silly pretending to be real, but I was wondering where the term came from.

from the concept of "multilevel" thinking. one level is what cards I think you have, another level is what I think you think I have....

If you make a big bet and I interpret it as a sign that you want me to fold, so I call, and you turn over the nuts, I've been levelled. to a 2+2 poster, this is analgous to me saying one thing when I mean the exact opposite.

yes, t= tournament chips

M= stack / (blinds+antes). it's the number of orbits you'll survive if you fold every hand. useful for quantifying how "desperate" you are because you are running out of chips.

Quote:
t500/t1000 Blinds + t125 - 9 players

SB: t68601 M = 26.13
so the blinds post 500 and 1000, for 1500. antes for 9 players are 125*9=1125, blinds + antes = 2625.

small blind's stack is 68601. M = 68601/2625 = 26.133

In pokerstars, I unchecked the don't show winning hand option just for fun. When I win a hand where everyone folds, there's a pop-up for like 3 seconds option of whether to show or don't show your hand. My question is if I don't press anything will it show or not show my hand?

Maybe he had 6-7 and was laughing at himself because he thought about limping in. Maybe he thought that bet on the river was a bluff and you folded a pair? Maybe he typed in the wrong box???
