What does a 1/2-10 spread for a limit game mean?
Kill pot is where someone wins 2 hands in a row in a limit game, and gets a kill button. They will put out a bet of either double or 1.5x for a half kill game the big blind, and will have last action preflop if no one raises. If there is a raise, they act in turn. During a kill pot the bet sizes will double for each street (or be 1.5 as big for a half kill game). Not a perfect description but I think you get the idea.
1-2-10 spread means there is a 1 and 2 dollar small and big blind. When betting you have the option of betting anything from $2-10. You will have to at least double what the person who raised before you did though. Ex: UTG raises $5 to $7 total. You could call the 7, or make it 12 (a $5 raise), 13, 14, 15, 16, or 17 (a $10 raise). If you made it 17, the next player would only have the option to call fold or make it $27.
