Was srs. Anyone can be a Bhunla cap'n right?
04-02-2014 , 03:32 PM
Anyone can be one, but it takes a special kind of character to be a triumphant captain, ifyaknawhaimeen.

Even then, no ty to organizing matches and dealing with potential micro scammers (PapaPyrietawoftnw/e)

It takes like 10 minutes per week. I'm happy to do it again if needed.

Don't like white wine. Always get strange looks from waiters when ordering a glass of red with fish. Love dessert wines, nothing beats a good botrytis semmilon after dinner. And of course I looove fortified wines, imho we make some of the best tawny ports here in Aus.

What site is this BHUNLA on? chances are its somewhere I have no interest playing

It's just the way dessert wines tend to be served with fruit or a pudding rather than a cheeseboard or whatever. I want a flavour contrast with my drinks, not MORE SWEET SWEET SWEET

Hmmm - you do have a point. Dessert wines need to be with a cheese platter. *drool* cheese platter mmmmmm.............

As per usual, I'm in for bNLHUA, and in a change to the previous programming, I'm willing to entertain being a captain if no-one else better steps forward.
04-03-2014 , 08:32 AM
So we are running bhunla earlier than last year? I like that.

Anyone step forward as commish? I have plenty of availability if nobody else can. If so, I would like to still captain.
04-03-2014 , 09:08 AM
I'll play. I want zero responsibility, and plenty of booze.
