go play white knight at playmoney games imo and if u play 50$ games get a backup internet connec or ask ur site for a refund. not my job to take care of that.

I do play for money and I don't care if people do it back for me or not. It's good practice.

u clearly dont play HU SNGs then i take it where this is daily bizz (even get a pop up warning u before every game). especially with so many people on mobiles playing these days this just burning money but hey - keep up the white knighting tho, some1 has to do it


and to answer the original question - amongst husng players/regs this is NOT considered to be bad etiquette fwiw. these attitudes mostly come from people having nfi about the games in question and come from other random formats

Don't even play HUSNG so I don't have a dog in the race at all. If something makes me a dick but I feel it's my right to do it and I want to do it - then I do it, but I don't pretend I'm not a dick by doing it.

Haha clearly I'd be a terrible HUSNG player then if a regular part of the game of an obvious HUSNG crusher such as yourself has to be regularly scooping d/c pots. Anyone would have thought these would make up a very small %age of occasions that any HUSNG reg wouldn't need to rely on - more fool me.

Altoncake is technically correct,* it's pretty standard to raise when a player disconnects. If a player can't protect their stack, it's their fault. the edges in Hu SnGs is so small that a player can't afford to ignore the added value of a missing player.

Fwiw, it's pretty standard in the husng community to snap blind down and not send back, though many regs do make agreements with each other to send back if dc'd. This is the exception rather than the rule, however, and is more based on self interest (pissing off other reg may be -EV, blinding down a fish is obv +EV) than some sense of ethics on the part of most husng players.

If it makes you feel like a dick then by all means don't do it, but this is something that's been discussed to death in the husng community and seems unlikely to change at least for a long while.
