I am gonna guess probably less then 20% of them.
I think you are the best poker player in this forum

This seems to be a good time for you to move out of the Beginners Question area of 2+2. Try to find a place where they will respect your praises.

For as much as you dislike the posters and responses you get in this forum, you sure do ask a lot of questions.

I tried reading your post but I almost died from boredom. So instead here is a picture of the Teletubbies.

In that case, no it's not a useful stat. You can have the best starting pitching in the world, but if your relievers suck then you're gonna end up blowing leads all the time. You might even have the lead for 8 innings on average, but if you always blow the lead in the ninth, you're screwed.

I'm merging this thread into the containment thread.

OP - don't create any more threads in BQ without prior approval from a BQ mod.

18% is 4.5-1 not 5.5-1. Flush draw on turn is about 4.22-1.

Then it becomes a game of Whack-A-Troll.

As a former mod....never a good result. You really hope that OP "gets it" and become a productive 2+2 poster.

Not my call in this forum, but I would say that Gary has modified his behavior enough to avoid being banned. If you are coming into this thread, you have no cause for complaint about him at this time.

If I know I am making $ 13 a hour I am thinking that about 33 hands per hour is 100 hands.
Then three hours worth of play (same as 100 hands = 39 dollars)
IF
The structure of the game is 1/3 and NOT 1/2
my BB/100 would be 39 divided by 3 = 13 BB/100.
IF the structure were
1/2 the BB/100 would then be 19 and fractions.
Did I get that Right ?

Didn't you already start a thread for this?

Anyway, I'll just paste my answer from that thread into this one:

($13/2)/(33/100)= 19.69 bb/100

So yes, you're correct.

Off topic, but it's only just dawned on me just how sloooooww live poker must feel. To have to sit there for 3 hours (or more) to get dealt just 100 hands sounds like purgatory. /derail

You're probably playing 2 and 3 games at a time and I would bet you're also facing players that aren't as soft.

also think about how well you can play with the extra time. when you're bored you can watch all the hands being played! you can even talk to people and have fun!

This is exactly the aspect that prevents live games being flooded by online nitreg autists. So I consider it a huge benefit, albeit well disguised.

so what number is good and what number is crushing it ?
I guess it needs to be considered the level it is vs.
Since most of the world talks in BB/100
I am guessing over 14 is a crush and anything over 25 is either unattainable
and/or unrealistic.
I wonder how many players are Negative bb/100 (probably around 92% ?)

I used to play on line prior to BF I spoke in terms of BB/100 back then. In live poker we speak either $/hr or bb/hr

at the 2/5 level I consider a crusher someone who wins 10bb+/hr (50 bux+ per hour)

solid grinders win at 30-35/hr (6-7bb/hr) at 2/5 imho

I only know of 1 long term crusher at the 1/2 level and that is wj94 and he absolutely obliterates the vegas 1/2 scene

Dream crusher personally knows multiple 1/2 and 1/3 grinders that do quite well

At $1/$2 $13/hour (6.5 bb's/hour) is a fine win rate. It's not crushing, but it's solid enough.

At $1/$3 $13/hour (4.33bb's/hour) is an ok win rate in the sense that you are profitable. I doubt anyone with this winrate is making huge mistakes frequently, but they are surely making mistakes. Could be they spew off due to tilt every now and again, or they are making some smaller fundamental mistakes.

IS there a good way to improve play from specific positions ?
As an example after looking at all my stats
I am a pretty strong player from both the cut off and button I am just ok in small blind and I am getting slammed when in the Big Blind.
what is the best way to improve my play from the big blind
