They can't see the difference between the purpose for bitcoin and the purpose for ethereum. It's because they are coders and not well read on economics.

Ethereum is meant to be breakable and repairable at an instant. It's part of the design that deters types of attacks. That you can attack it and win but the network will just fork and move on is part of the early stages of its development.

Security has to arise over time through successive repairs. It's necessary for evolution. Its a riskier asset and will take time, but its the future, there is no doubt. I did what I could to try to move the poker industry to build on top of it.

Vitalik is this generation's Zuckerberg/Gates imo. Some goofy kid who invented world-changing technology when he was 20. He showed up to techcrunch, possibly the most visible day of his life, unshowered wearing a llama unicorn t-shirt. This guy cares about nothing else besides coding ethereum. Haters gonna hate but I feel very comfortable investing in him.

People saying that about alts too. I guess when we've been losing money at such a steady rate that being breakeven feels like a huge upswing.

EOS is recycling ETH. They just keep buying their own EOS with the ETH they had already raised. They get to keep a % of all funds raised so it's in their best interest to artificially inflate prices. I could get very detailed on it, but I don't really feel like it at the moment. I know there are threads on reddit explaining the process.
