Dude, you're such a tool. And linking coaching threads doesn't mean anything.

Take Insane Steve for example. The guy offers HUSNG coaching at $20/hr, which is significantly bellow his hourly rate according to Sharkscope...not everyone's in it for the money.

You don't like coaches, fine...but there's no need to act as if you've got sand in your friggin' pussy. No one's forcing you to get a coach. Did a coach kill your cat or sleep with your girl??

I'm a terrible coach, the absolute worst, in fact I'm so bad that 2 of the people you link as coaches that suck and are ******ed, were my students! How's that for irony? Not to mention the fact that CR will pick up just any ol' bum off the street that knows how to play so OBV being a CR coach has no value.

OP has no frame of reference, he's like a child that wanders into the middle of a movie and wants to know....

In all honesty though, I've posted my points in this thread and OP has ignored them multiple times because they're obv accurate and make logical sense. OP loves attention and is easily amused and will stop at nothing to have this thread continue because he LOVES IT LOVES IT LOVES IT!

So, Ihatelosing, you are a giant GIANT blubbering blabbering buffoon with an endless stream of nonsensical **** spewing out of your digital mouth.

Arcadian did a nut high job of showing us your clown shoes with all of your previous posts. You're the nut high coach, you have the million dollar man's bankroll (rep Teddy D) and when you challenge people to HU matches and they get accepted, you show up with a story about taking a shot and losing.

Get a coach imo.

Also, I'm done posting in this thread because I don't want to be an enabler for you. I'm guessing that psychologically you need this sort of attention from strangers because it's clear that you don't have a warm family life at home. You may even be the black cat. Your social ineptness and glowering cries for attention will not be met with the satisfaction that you long for.

End of line

Ihatelosing is probably the most pathetic poster I have encountered in awhile. If he wasn't such a douche I might consider coaching him for free, but since he is a douche and obviously doesn't like the concept of coaching, I guess I will just let live his meager existence.

You do realise that almost everyone who reads this forum is either a coach or someone looking for a coach, right? Saying that "everyone who is arguing with me has a coaching thread" is kind of pointless, because a very high percent of the people who open this sub-forum also have coaching threads.

You lack the intellectual capacity or the reading comprehension skills to formulate thoughts and conclusions based on painfully obvious evidence (or...OP is your bff).

You tell me how this is "sarcastic". And as soon as people step up to the plate to take on his childish "challenge", he conveniently "loses his roll" the night before. Gimme a ****ing break man. Also, don't single me out and say "congratulations for not being able to detect even a hint of sarcasm in any of those posts you keep linking", when every single poster, up until YOU, has failed to "see the sarcasm". Obviously sarcasm doesn't exist.

He's a blabbering idiot, and a typical forum troll. Being that you're the only person, out of about 50, who can't figure this out... says volumes.

Have you even read his posts? Jesus.

Spot on.
I can respect opinions, but the lack of reference to back OP's views, on top of his elaborately fabricated claims, makes me question him, psychologically. It also voids any credibility that he thinks he has when he speaks.

u got owned mate, accept it.

And 'spot on' how alewis makes personal and groundless accusations about my nature??? Really???

The only way all you coaches could try and even get close to winning this discussion (discussion on my part, and aggresive abuse on their part - generally) was to try and destroy my credibility.

If you think that taking coaching from some random who has won a few buy ins at nl$50 (and then made a fancy topic outlining his little scheme and limited poker credintials to try and drum up buisness) is a good idea then i respect your opinion.

I, conversely, do not believe that it is a good idea, and this therefore leads me to suggest that 'paying for coahing is ******ed'

The point of this forum is to discuss poker issues, not to say 'op has brutal shortcomings as a human being' because you disagree with his opinion (as alewis said about me).

So state your opinion by all means, but to resort to personal attacks because you disagree with somebodys view on a poker issue that he is discussing in a topic on that issue is not very mature.

SO i urge you guys, stop the hate, gain some maturity, and debate the issue like sensible adults. If you disagree then state your opinion, but dont get angry because somebody dares to have an opinion which is opposite to yours.

If I got "owned" 99.9% of the people in this thread wouldn't be agreeing me, and the thread wouldn't have spiraled way out of your favor since my posts. Also, how are the heads up challenges looking for you? (what a joke).

If your "nature" voids the credibility of the opinion or view, then it's fair game. Which is obviously the case here.

That's just complete ignorance and a disgusting generalization. Which is another reason why we are all ****ting on you - you make baseless and foundation-less claims backed by NOTHING, and say them in a condescending and insulting manner. An opinion isn't an opinion without a framework of reference...it's just ignorance.

Posting a thread, "Coaching is ******ed"...isn't exactly what you'd call an intellectual or sensible view, nor should you expect it to spark "discussion". A "discussion" involves a point and counter-point structure... you have failed to make a "point"...it's all just just spewy ******ation with zero groundwork for debate or discussion (like claiming that all coaches have limited knowledge, have only won a few buy-ins at $50NL, etc.).

Also, we aren't ragging your psychological and personal faults because we disagree with your "view". We are ragging on your view because of your psychological and personal faults. There is a difference. it's like a color blind person claiming to like the color blue better than green. Some views are voided by qualities and characteristics, or lack thereof. Case in point.

I'm bad at poker, I've been playing for a couple of weeks and am still trying to learn the game, yet even I don't think this is a good idea.

What I do think is a good idea is going on a respectable forum (such as this) and, when I can afford it, paying someone with both a proven track record in poker but, more importantly, a proven track record in teaching others poker (such as can easily be found on this forum) some money to help me improve my game. I gather it could be referred to in a poker forum as +EV.

Can you see the difference?

Are you just ignoring me OP???

How many times would you like me to say that all three of my coaches, that I paid for, helped my game??

I have a 137 IQ so it's safe to say that I'm not stupid and if coaching never helped me improve, I wouldn't of had multiple lessons with different coaches who each specialised in different aspects of coaching.

I'm happy to debate with you but you just seem to want to instigate hate and anger with your mindless rants.

Feel free to ask me questions about my personal coaching experience and I will happily have a discusion with you on what went well and even what didn't work too well for me.

Of course you never posted graphs to prove yourself as having any credentials to pass judgment so I doubt you'll entertain a conversation which is afterall what you're saying that you're after.

From what you are saying here than perhaps you mean paying for coaching from an unqualified coach is "******ed"? I think that's pretty true. People should probably shop around and try to get someone good; (someone who has results over a good sized sample, somebody who has a history of good strategy posts, someone with a good reputation, someone who has previous satisfied students, etc.). Paying a lot for coaching from some random who won 2 or 3 BI's at 50NL certainly is pretty stupid.

My friend OP -
My last post may have been a bit harsh, and for that I apologize. I'm simply trying to tell you that people aren't resorting to personal bashes because they think they lost the argument. I think the debate on coaching was lost somewhere on the 3rd page! You asked for the back alley whooping when you claimed to be something you are not.

As for the actual debate, I am living proof that coaching is a wise investment. First when I receive it and second when I give it. After my coaching sessions my WR skyrocketed. My students have told me how much I've helped their game. My coach was coached. His coach was coached. Man this is how it works, and if you seriously believe that coaching is a waste, well then you live in some kind of delusion because you have yet to post any emperical evidence. You might say that we could have read books and saved the money. Yea, MAYBE. And MAYBE the Lord Jesus Christ would have come down to smite Nazi Germany if the Allied Forces decided to forego the Eastern and Western offensive. The evidence is for coaching not against it.

I can't believe I actually dignified this thread with a reasonable reply. I feel kind of dirty because I doubt OP is even serious about his claims. I think he's just a narcist.

Good luck with life.
