Hey all,

So I made an account at party poker and moved some of my BR over there to see how soft the games are, let's just say I'm a very happy boy. But then after chipping up nicely in an MTT the client goes down and I can't log in. So my question is, does this happen often with Party Poker?

Some money from my account is missing. Looks like it's what I had on tables when the client went down. I have spoken to support via live chat and they said that according to their system everything was fine. I checked Account>My Statements and the amount taken from those closed tables was higlighted in green but the Final Balance next to each of them stated $0. They are working on it, I hope it's not going to take forever.

FastForward not going and when I sit at a normal CG table, I get a tourney popup and the software crashes...

Try hovering over your balance in the lobby onmy clinet it shows the missing funds as "in play"

this ^ is what is happening on mine (still).


Colette, I just emailed support now. (didn't bother before as I just kept thinking the 'In Play' would be taken care of & the money would be back in my account)

Its happened before anyway not a big deal when things are sorted it will be back in your account id say

Please do post there; it might be a good thing for the rep to see a brand new player's first experience of the site.

Colette,

I requested for you to look into customer service treating people differently a few weeks ago. This is still happening. What can you report to us about customer service never admiting any problems even in cases where it's obvious that you were having problems? A dozen ppl came to complain on 2+2 alone within few mins.

Does this mean that the DTD players will be in the same player pool as partypoker.com? You mean I can take revenge for being one-outered on Day 2 of WPT UK?

The issue I've had wasn't about showing missing funds as 'in play'. It just wasn't there at all. My money appeared back in my account within 1-2 hours after I had used the live chat to report it. No word from support since then.

I play HENL FR and 6M normal tables, using PartyCaption with Tourney Announcements Off and HEM2. Deleted partycommunicator file a month or so ago after the first time ArcaCvet posted about it and made sure the file is not present after HEM2 updates. There are one or two crashes every day I play. There is no MFC crash report, but all the tables and the lobby disappear instantly without any notice. The error message in event logs is:

Anyone have an issue getting through to chat on party? the window opens for me but doesnt seem to update, i have ad blocker turned off so don;t think that is the issue

No crashes thus far since I deleted the partycommunicator file. Thanks Lessu!

It's most indicative that the Party Poker support is not able and/or interested in finding out such things...

I think the "tourney announcements" off settings means that Partycaption isn't doing anything about them. Use the "hide" setting. That's what I do and I don't get any crashes nor do I get any of the announcements.

Try that and report back
