I don't think that is what she meant. She has said a few times that they have no yet determined what approach they will use to limit software. Whether it will be stopping hand histories to stop 3rd party software or the more likely solution of creating a software list of allowable software. I understand how the way she phrases it might be frustrating. But there is no point getting upset at her because she doesn't know the answer just yet so we will just have to wait and see what is decided.

What we know is things like HM PT4 party caption and partyezcash are legal software. Seating scripts have never been announced as legal software the site just never acted upon them. If you stick to those softwares then you will not have a problem. And in the near future when they have determined all the details I'm sure they will post and clarify everything.

I'm playing fastforward tables using HM2. Every time I click the table HUD to show the list of recent hands I experience a "lag". Sometimes the hand viewer doesn't trigger at all, sometimes it triggers after 5 seconds or so, sometimes I have to click several times for it to show up. Also, when it does show it usually lags HM2 for a second or two.

I kinda got used to it. I have pretty good hardware (16gb ram, i7, fast ssd), therefore I'd like to ask FF regs: is this normal or is there sth wrong on my side?

I have the same issue when I use PT4. I tag the hands then check them out at my next break. I find if I try to go back while I'm grinding, there can be enough lag to time me out at some tables.

I hope they don't but if Party stop providing HHs to players, then some 3rd party software programs won't be working, at least for a while. It's not Party's job to make their platform for 3rd party programs but the other way.

Program not working is different from a program being banned. For example, HUDs might not work but that doesn't mean HUDs are banned.

It's also not Party's fault that any of us paid for 3rd Party software (like TST) that will stop working after a chance.

Thanks for the answer Colette. I hope management will see it fit to convert the ticket. I know they don't usually do this, but the ticket is paid for and of no use as it is. I intended to use the ticket in the steps system, but to no avail. Today I see there isn't even a Step 5 SnG available anymore, so I'm stuck with a ticket i cannot use and $530 are way too much to let go to waste. Thank you for your efforts.

If live chat is saying something different than PartyRep that's really bad for us. I've wanted to use partycaption so many times but it's inconsistancies like these that make me so paranoid. I just never ended up trying partycaption because of this.

Out of curiosity, do you know who it was that helped you via Live Chat? Post screenshots next time too... if they are talking nonsense.

Some 3rd party tools may not work with recent and planned changes

Seating scripts are banned and players using these risk their accounts being closed permanently - again as per my previous posts.

I have already stated there is no issues with partycaption

The team have been in touch and have stated exactly why your account has been closed - the last email communication was sent around the 22nd December
This issue was in no way related to partycaption and the fraud team have concluded a full investigation and consider the case closed in full

As I have stated previously - I will not discuss account issues on this forum - our CS teams are best placed to assist and are available 24/7

Thanks for the MANY responses in this thread about PartyCaption and how it IS ALLOWED. Your constant communication in this thread is greatly appreciated.

If I were you, I wouldn't be surprised or take offense when your comments sometimes fall on deaf ears. Especially when some customers are being told something different by Party staff, allegedly. AND some people who have accounts banned are suggesting it is because of PartyCaption.

Because PartyPoker has decided never to share any particulars about banned accounts, customers are going to speculate reasons. I don't see why saying an account was banned for "seat scripting" does anything but reinforce the 'poker for the people' mantra you guys have been preaching. It will only further discourage seat scripting and other such behavior.

I think i have identified botring at 6max nl2. Know it might sound ridiculous, but something fishy is going on. I went there to test my hud settings at low cost and couple hundred hands into the play I noticed few account of the same nationality playing solid vpip/pfr style quite uncommon among other players there, yet having some huge leaks and weird bet sizings. All of them the same, surprisingly. Bot test going on maybe? Should I contact support (coz im on bwin) or PM to Colette might work better?

What a trainwreck. Party prohibits some software and allows others, but doesn't provide a list of permitted software. Then proceeds to ban players who used programs on their phantom list of prohibited software and confiscate funds from their accounts.

What astounding stupidity, even by Party's standards. This is utterly pathetic.

Where does the money that get confiscated by Party towards player that are catch using illegal softwares go?

It gets redistributed to players. It has happened several times. They pro-rate it and distribute the prorated amount to players that lost to said confiscated account.

To the banned guys, did you have Pokersnowie running in the background?
Is that program allowed?

That's usually the case when a bot is caught but I'm not sure funds would be redistributed when a seat scriptor is banned.
