This may be a dumb question but after contacting Bovada support I now have more questions than answers. So I'm looking to deposit $1,000.00 USD on Bovada, as I understand Bovada offers a 100% first time deposit bonus for up to $1k, so my question is after I deposit $1k and add on the bonus will I have $2,000.00 in total on my account? The way I figure this is $1,000.00+100% bonus =$2,000.00. I called Bovada support to confirm and the gave me the run around, all I could talk to was Indians, we mutually had trouble understanding each other and basically she told me the bonus was me getting a 100% of what I deposited, so $1k...which basically to me sounds like "yeah you'll get exactly what you put on the account, that is your bonus", WTF? Can someone who has deposited give me a straight answer on what my account will look like if I deposit $1K, thanks in advance!

Your account will have $1000 available. As you start playing you will accumulate points. Your bonus will be released in increments when you reach certain point levels.

It's all right here:

I play 25nl and 50nl on Bovada and the games seem insanely soft to me. I rarely find myself at tables where there is more than one other reg. I've never played on another site, but I have been considering trying a new one because I want access to a HUD. I have heard that Bovada is the softest site ever so I am basically wondering if being a winning player on bovada will translate to similar stakes on other sites. Having to drop down in stakes considerably doesn't sound worth it for being able to use a HUD.

Yes, bovada is pretty soft. Depending on your winrate, if you want to add 2 more tables at a HUD site while making Bovada your main site, is a viable option depending which country you live. I love Bovada's rec model, so I prefer to stay and play with softer tables in lieu of playing against semi-competent players with rakeback.

Also, how long does turbo MTTs last on Bovada? I'm going to play the 30+3 5k gtd 10k starting stack but it's a turbo. Only reason i'm playing it is because I received a free ticket.

I would be interested in joining the group, but I just started using 2+2 and don't have PM privileges yet. My Skype is **** though if you want to add me. You might also be able to PM me, its possible I just can't initiate a conversation.

Just got this awesome email from America's Cardroom:

Quote:
Dear Valued Player,

For several weeks now online poker sites across multiple networks have experienced disconnections and disruptions.

Within the last few days, Americas Cardroom has been experiencing some technical difficulties due to deliberate disconnections produced by an unknown source. As a result, no internet service providers have been able to maintain stable connections, thus causing disruptions to some game sessions.

Resolving these issues is our No. 1 priority to assure you a stable and reliable environment. Please note that we are working non-stop to make sure these interruptions come to an end.

In addition to major connectivity improvements, we have enabled a new feature that allows us to pause a tournament as soon as a high level network disruption is detected. During this pause our tournament staff will communicate with players via table messages. Once the network goes back to its normal behavior we will resume all tournaments.

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this has caused.

I do find the idea that you would call him an idiot for doing the right thing pretty ****ty and shallow though fwiw.
The "right thing" is all relative. That is, it's fine so long as it benefits me or my relatives (the ones I like anyway). We live in a subjective universe. "Right" and "wrong" are merely opinions and preferences except in 'hard' arenas such as mathematics.

Haha, thanks. Forgot to mention I made up a new email address to send them the info and they mentioned that the address wasn't linked to any accounts on Bovada and I should tell them my account...not a chance

Sometimes it takes me 30 mins+ just to get 4 tables running, especially because they are also constantly breaking because no one wants to play more then 30 hands.

Seating has started to become a huge factor in how well you do online now. If your bad at finding your seats your at a disadvantage.

Normally I'd agree, but I think table-selecting is not that important on BV especially compared to stars/FTP/ROW sites. I've never seen a limit of NLH that has only 4-5 tables running unless your playing like 400+. Even then, it's not like it's a rush for an open seat since the player pool is obviously small and all.
