Are these zone hands?
Also the same here - long term winning player on PS before our government banned online poker.

I've just withdrawn my BR from Ignition and will look for somewhere else.

I'm used to variance and downswings etc but there's something seriously not quite right with Ignition which I can't put my finger on.

Apart from the colluders, lately I've also noticed hyper LAGs sitting on massive stacks 5+ times the buyin, 4betting every hand and never losing on the river.

On one of the most unbelievable downswings I have ever experienced on this site. I want to cry.

Similar story here - i've played professionally since 2014 with ignition cash comprising most of my volume since 2015. While I've done well in MTTs in the last 1.5 years, I've been on a horrendous run at cash (in seemingly great games) and have been running well below EV and getting crushed by players that seem like whales. In the past, I've been sketched out by ACR and their security but given recent changes that now seems like the safer option

Thinking of switching over to ignition from ACR but hesitant due to rake back. Are there any rake back referrals for the site or are you pretty much screwed?

Patrick Howard was recently on Jungleman's podcast discussing the state of online games. The colluding bot problem on Ignition was discussed a few times - he didn't seem too optimistic they are going to get this under control anytime soon. Regardless, I think its worth the hour listen for anyone that plays online poker. Podcast is "Winning the game of life" and its the most recent episode.

Someone had posted this maybe a month or two ago, but hearing it from Patrick solidified to for me, the BOTS ARE THE COLLUDERS. It isn't like they have a bot problem and a colluding problem - the bots are using a mixture of MDA and RTA, and on top of that, they are also colluding with each other.

I think it would go a long way if they would just admit they have a problem (even if they can't solve it yet) and promise to issue refunds once they start banning and confiscating the funds. One thing that had given me some hope was thinking they were working with people like Patrick to at least help identify them (which can't be that difficult because all of us that played in the last year can pretty much tell you which ones are the bots). The fact that no high stakes players or anyone has come out and said they are working with the security team doesn't give me much confidence.

I would certainty start playing again if I felt like the games were relatively secure (of course there will always be cheating in poker, online and live).

The massive stack thing I have noticed too. Long time winner and semi-pro off and on since 2008. In 2018 I won 100 buy ins in a month at lower stakes. Now I can barely scrape EV in these games and I am grinding my ass off. Zone lower stakes.

The stakes do not matter, the same bots are from 5nl zone and up.

On top of the fact that you might be getting cheated, I never thought that the random number generator on this site was any good. From day one I always had questions as to whether this was really random and how realistic it was. they don't have a license for their poker software or their random number generator. So you would have to ask why not? I never trusted the random generator on this site from day one

I've been playing 500-2knl on Bov/Ignition since black friday (14 or so years) and what I've experienced the past two years is something I have never experienced in my poker career. What I thought was a one off run bad year in 2022 continued all throughout 2023. It's been literally like groundhogs day, win x buy ins, lose it all back, rinse and repeat. Super tough to deal with mentally. I'd think to myself- it has to turn around right? Remember the law of big numbers. Am I playing significantly worse than I used to or am I getting passed by? WTF is going on?...

Pre 2022 win rates:
500nl 4.5bb/100 340k hands
1knl 4bb/100 820k hands
2knl 5bb/100 290k hands

post 2022 win rates:

500nl -6bb/100 35k hands
1knl -0.87/100 240k hands
2knl 2.54bb/100 45k hands

I continue to play on the site and am hopeful for something to change in the near future but reading this thread the outlook seems pretty bleak.

My winrate at 200nl was cut in more than half in 2022 before I quit playing Bodog. Sad to see but also feels good to know that I really was getting cheated and not just on the worst run of variance in my life.

Considering the complete lack of security, it's kinda crazy it took this long for a team to destroy the games. Hundreds of thousands if not millions of $ up for grabs and all you have to do is be extremely unethical and halfway ok at cards to snatch a share. Where else can you even attempt to steal that much money with absolutely 0 risk of consequences? It's really surprising it took until 2022 to get this bad but who knows, maybe there was some kind of security team in the past.

i'm not saying that suspicious things aren't happening on iggy/bovada, however having a 300k hand stretch (where you still have a winrate) is actually very standard. the problem is, in a lifetime sample - lets' say 5mill hands - you can expect to have several 200k+ hand break even or losing stretches. The reality is that the vast majority of regs are deluded that this type of variance exists due to having played relatively very few hands lifetime.

Its conceivable that you ran a bit above over the first 1.4mm hands, coupled with lower quality of player. That isn't to say you're not running bad now, or as i said, being cheated fwiw. cus there 100% is dodgy **** going down on iggy rn

So I'm sitting at a full sit n go that won't start. Looks like a bunch of other tables are in the same situation. They're listed as "full" but nobody's playing.

I don't know. To me it's just seems weird the outcomes. I am not saying it's rigged, maybe it just a case that they don't put alot of resources into their security or or others things. I have a good win rate playing plo there but would never trust it at higher stakes. It's like u get into a bad run and u can't win when u flop quads the guy hits runner runner straight flush......and i have seen that before a few times. I just never really trusted the site after the change from bodog.

I am a noob, but the Only wrong with this site is the collusion of bots? Because I play NL25 and I know the variance but sometimes is incredible the One outer or two outer than the recreational hits on the river and my stupid head think that this site is "rigged" and is beneficious for the recs

my first 3k hands back to online poker in a very long time is truly phenomenally "fake and gay" -- really didnt think it was possible for an algo to be this bad.
(currnetly playing 25NL/50NL just to get my feet wet online) on Ignition get used to the software make sure I can withdraw successfully etc but my gosh after this idk, prob just gna play live 2/5 instead which is what i was playing last when I stopped playing poker. I dont think I have seen one standard variance spot yet like coolers or flips or decent made hand vs good draw. People just keep stumbling into random 2pairs/sets/flushes/straights after making bad aggro plays preflop/flop with bad hands. Thats much less fun variance. Losing AKvsQQ 10 times in a row at least feels normal or running into AA everytime you have QQ/KK again feels normal, what ive been running into just doesnt feel normal

The rng complaints are derailing the actual discussion here..

I am also curious if people have seen clear signs of bots/collusion below 50nl or if that’s just speculation. I’ve seen some strange stuff lately at 25z - namely players with huge stacks 3betting and caling down apparenty random hands but at lower levels it could always be button clicking/random play.

The Sit n Go's aren't starting immediately after the max registrants have entered. Seems to be about a 15-20min delay on the start of the games in which a bunch of players are afk obviously.
Jackpots also not loading but at least it doesn't take your money.
Happening yesterday as well.

TBH i would have never randomly came in here and talked about my experience it was only because i was on here again for the first time in years seeing what was legal at the time in US and when i came to this thread just saw all sorts of people talking about how sus Ignition was and my albeit small sample size of 2-3k hands was absolutely absurd. I didnt even feel like I was playing poker if im honest. None of my spots were normal. Just so many bizzare spots and almost no normal spots is what weirds me out.
