So, is MG a legitamate option? I've been using checks since I've started playing there, but after a current headache with a "money order" from up North I've been looking to simplify things, fee or no fee. If anyone has had success with MG, did anyone use WM money center? Don't know if there are MG locations near me outside that place.

Yeah I am really happy that they give me 1 free payout per month because of the state I live in. It comes at a price though, I can't deposit a small 25 again using my card because I live in this state, so my only option now is a minimum deposit of 100 through WU.

Either way, I've been playing poker for 2 years now, and finally made a successful withdrawal. On top of that I got everything I asked for in a day. It truly is a surreal feeling, that you could actually make a modest living doing this if you could win consistently. Bovada has sweet cards, low buy in high guaranteed tournaments, and I actually grew to like the anonymous feature.

Haven't played on Bovada in 5 years. (was bodog then)
Deposited via credit card and make a few bucks.
Noticed in my withdraw options that bank wire is an option for me.
Does anyone have this option for withdrawing on their account?

LOOOL

signed up an acct, got a call just now asking about questions and whatnot. I asked about rakeback, dude over the phone was so terse and wouldn't give me a straight answer. I asked him, even though I made my acct, can I get rakeback, he mumbled and then said sure, then wanted to help me get my money on the site.

so, do they offer rakeback?

So, is it safe to say that all checks from up North are bouncing? If so, are people just going to request checks and pray they from from the East?

I read posts like this and I find it so hard to be polite, but it is not safe to say all checks from up north are bouncing.

I've received a lot of checks from up North and the one that came around the 18th or so of last month is the only one that I've had any issues with. It has not bounced, but the ATM wouldn't accept it so they had to mail it back to me to take into the branch. I got charged $.25 for an international check and none of the checks I've received from Bovada have had that before. Other than that, no problems to this point.

I received another check from up North on the 8th and took it the to ATM like usual and everything worked just fine.

Uh...oh...

I requeste a payout on 4/1; approved on 4/2; got my tracking number 2 days ago and check came today.
But it is the Money Order type from up North drawn on that "K" financial LTD thing.

Has anyone gotten that and had it NOT bounce?

I'm wondering if I should check with Bovada BEFORE even doing the deposit?

I received a money order from Up North as well recently.

I deposited the check and my bank returned it to me saying it was rejected. I then called my bank again to see what the issue is, and they said the check was suspicious and that they cannot accept it. They told me not to re-deposit.

Emailed Bovada and explained the situation. Have had several back and forths with Bovada with them telling me to keep trying to deposit it, and me saying the bank clearly said it's no good. They'll keep returning it.

I've been complaining strongly and will be pulling my account and funds if it isn't resolved. I just hope I don't get another money order from up North when i withdraw all my money.

This is bad form by Bovada, imo.

So if you got one of these money orders, you're screwed.

It sounds like your bank won't even try to process it, not that check/mo is actually not good.

I'm learning their support team is not trained well and poorly informed on promotions. Add someone who's lazy and not sincere in helping customers and you've got the situation you're in.

Last week, several hours after I made my MG deposit and supplied Bovada with the order number, the money had not shown up in my account. A few back and forths on the phone between Bovada telling me the number was invalid and MG telling me the number was valid, I felt I was in a stalemate situation. Ended up telling Bovada to have their end contact MG and inquire about the order number. Five minutes on hold, Bovada comes back on and says the money will be credited in the hour. Clearly that should have happened first instead of the useless back and forth I was sent through.

Good Luck, I hear ya!

However, today (2 days after depositing) it is now on hold and when I called my bank they said that there were insufficient funds. Also, the phone number that was given with those shady instructions directs me to a voicemail and I have yet to hear back. Was your banking experience similar in that it was put on hold first for a bit or did it immediately bounce? Anyone get a payout recently with the same MO from the north that has had it successfully deposit? This is my 3rd withdrawal from Bovada and the only one that isn't from the East and the only one that instructed me to NOT use the ATM and to goto the teller instead. Thanks for any helpful replies.
Update: The MO bounced today. What should I do in order to get my money reimbursed on Bovada?

I'm guessing the first thing you'd want to do is contact Bovada instead of posting here?

I received one of those "money orders" today. Just out of curiosity, I CALLED Bovada, explaining that based on what I've read, this so-called payment is likely to bounce. I was kind of hoping they would say I should send them a copy of the check and they would credit my account. But as expected they said to deposit it. They also pretty much admitted that it was likely to bounce! So, I deposited the check. I assume I will get a call from my CU next week!

You confuse me. What did you think they would say? You think they were going to issue you a new check because you heard some other persons check bounced?

Also, what makes you think the next check would be good as apposed to the one in your hand?

Just deposit the freaking check and proceed from there.
