google search doesn't have a "rhymes with" feature yet

yes people reading this thread can figure it out......but it is better to not have
100s of people saying "I have no problem cashing checks from "Brodada at Race"

Race might catch on faster as well as others

I believe search engines hit on key words so posting a bank name could very well bring a lot more attention to this thread from people that werent necessarily intent of coming here previously.

Having said that, there is absolutely zero need to refer to banks in this thread period, disguising the name or not. It serves no purpose whatsoever. Just because a certain bank in Omaha rejected someones check in no way means the same bank in Boise will do the same.

Its the same thing about people needing to know where their check might be coming from before they get it. How could that possible help you? Even if the last 10,000 checks from Mexico bounced, if your check is from Mexico what are you going to do? Youre going to cash it like any other check and wait and see because this is your only option.

If you post the name of the bank you got your check from, someone see's that and decides to seize some "free money" from a payment processor, then the processor gets shut down and checks get delayed for 2 months while the sites try to find someone new, you've f***** us all. Especially if the site says "F it" and closes up shop to Americans. We're better safe than sorry, and the precaution doesn't hurt us.

so if i deposited with a vis card will i be forced to be paid out by wire?

"If you have used methods other than Money Transfer to fund your bovada.lv account, your payout will be processed via that method, if applicable. "

are there any downsides to getting it wired to the account

Firstly, from your post history you seem like a real pleasure to be around.

I really don't think bovada wants you playing or deposting on there ever again anyway.

Possibly play on other sites?

You have other choices.

Why play bovada if you are so miserable?

Pretty sure if you req a 3 checks and a bankwire. And two of the checks were processed as a wire without your permission, you didn't receive any of them for over a month and you weren't allowed to cancel them you would be unhappy.

Deposit it at your bank, its a just a check like any other.

Btw, for future reference, if you are ever concerned about a check bouncing the very last thing youd ever want to do is deposit it at a check cashing place.

If a check in your bank account bounces its not a big deal. The bank can easily retrieve the money from your account allowing that you were smart enough not to spend it before you were sure it cleared. If you take money from a check cashing place in exchange for a bad check you will be looked upon as a criminal when that check bounces and you are long gone with their cash and it could become a ****ty situation until you get it rectified.

OK. Requested 3/3/13; approved 3/4/13.

Got my tracking # today.

So, it is coming from the East via DHL.
I looked at the tracking information and it is still in the East. I am in the Midwest here in the USA.

Just curious -- what is the tyocial time? I am guessing Monday at the earliest.

Mel

Well let me tell you about my experience with Bovada.

On Feb. 11th I deposited 500, which they charged me 25 dollars are of course. I have since won about 40k on the site. I was cashing out 3k every time I was over 6k just because I didn't feel comfortable with the site, for obvious reasons.

I have since received two checks, both took about 15 business days instead of 10. I don't care about that though. What happened next is what really pisses me off. I just received a letter in the mail from my bank, Wells Fargo, which stated that all my accounts are being shut down because the checks were reported as "refer to maker".

Does anyone know what the problem is? I have 5 days to get this solved and this is all bovada said back....

"We are sorry to hear that you are having problem with your payout request through Check by Courier rest assured that we will help you resolve your concern.

Please be advised that to better assist you with your concern, we kindly ask that you sent us a copy of the rejected check with the stamp coming from the bank stating why it was rejected and a copy of the bank statement if there are any fees incurred. You can sent the requested documents through our email address at service@bovada.lv and make sure to set it in JPEG or PDF format.

Once we have received the requested documents it will take approximately 24-48 hours to review and verify since documents are being reviewed in order they were received. Once verified a notification will be sent through your Bovada account messages.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you and we appreciate your continued patience and understanding regarding this matter. "

The bank never even sent me a check or said which check it was.

Sounds like one of the checks was bad.

The big bank should send you a copy of the rejected check in the mail, at which point you can fax it over to bovada and they'll send you another check

Once I've requested a payout and it has been approved, can I cancel it if I haven't received the tracking number yet?

This happened to me and many others...The check bounced is all. The payment processor they used for your funds was either shut down or moved before you cleared your funds..... Your bank legally has to provide you with the check once they have gone through there proper channels. It should be in the mail and u will have it in a couple business days most likely..

Once you receive it you will have to copy it front and back and send them to bovada to prove you where not paid.....once they see it in the proper department and verify it you will have money credited back into ur account and request another check. It will most likely take you at least ten days to get everything squared away unfortunatly. Being a USA internet poker player right now that is the norm. seeing as you have a HUGE amount of money i wouldnt be worried about it though cause u will get ur money and it sounds like your balling...
