I email bovada with a copy of my check and deposit receipt and they basically said it's not their fault or their problem.

Has this ever happened to anyone?
Find a new bank, you've managed to find, possibly, the dumbest group of bankers at your local branch.

We're pleased to announce that you can now make withdrawals from your Bovada account using a credit card.
When using this new payout option, there is a $50 fee per withdrawal and you'll receive the funds on your credit card within five to ten business days.
Here's what else you need to know:
The minimum payout is $20.
The maximum payout is $2,500.
This option is limited to one payout every seven calendar days.
The payout must be paid to a credit card that's already been used successfully with us.
Gift cards and reloadable cards are unable to receive funds via this option.

Anybody ever withdraw using this method? And if so, is it legit? Debit cards work for this?
Never heard of this option, if it's legit, pretty nice. If you use this method can you post the details about the experience etc? Much appreciated.

Just reloaded my account yesterday, but I will definitely make a cash out via credit (debit) card ASAP, even it it's for the minimum. Shows up on "payout" page like this...

Visa Card Payout
Fees: $50 or eligible as one free payout per month.
Your payout will be transferred to your Visa Card. Please note that we can only process a payout to a Visa Card which was successfully used to deposit into your Bovada account, and that we are unable to pay out to a prepaid or gift card.
We can only process up to a maximum of US$2000 per increment, every seven days.
Once processed, it can take 5-10 business days before the funds are visible in your card statement.

Pretty excited for this...much better than paying 15% juice for WU cash outs or having to worry about a check going through.

Did you have to deposit using a VISA card before this showed up? Because I don't see it right now.

Did you read his post and quote? It says it can only be used with a Visa used from a successful deposit. I guess you can figure out what that means....

A simple yes or no from Bovada would have been nice. Anyways, no cc withdrawal option after inquiring via email

Is the option to deposit via visa through bovada not there anymore?

And also how does the new method of payouts work, it says no to gift cards and pre paid/reloadable cards. But you cant use a bank card to deposit. So is this option only available to row players?

Let me help you out here, Bovada is US only, there are no ROW players....

Also, there is a Visa deposit option that doesn't require a debit card or reloadable card, obviously.

I looked through some of the most recent pages and haven't found anything so I figure ill ask. Does anyone use the bank whose logo burns in the sky? If so will they take checks no problem? Worried that the reason I don't see anyone mentioning them is because they wont take the cashouts.

Hey guys, fairly new to the online game and trying to do my first cash out. I have a few questions if you guys wouldn't mind helping me.

Request and got a approved yesterday. Waiting on my check but do I really need to deposit it through a ATM or can I just take to the teller. I also have a big name bank so do I need to worry about anything?

Sure you can take it to the teller, no problem. Just stay away from Maria at window 4, she's hassled me before.

Kind of a stupid question, I guess, but now I have one that is hopefully better. I did deposit with a Visa last night and I don't see any Visa withdrawl options. Is there a time period you need to wait for it to clear or soemthing?

Requested 2k payout on November 4th. Got a check drawn off a Canadian bank so it had to be sent off for collections. I waited till December 16th with no results so I called Bovada and had a stop payment put on the check. Said I would see the 2k back into my account in 24-48 hours. I called after 4 days only to find out they know nothing about why it hasn't been processed. I then called today(8 days after the stop payment on the check was initiated and I was told no more than 48hrs to receive the 2k back into my poker account. Still no email or word back. So been waiting on 2k since November 4th. Getting old for sure. Do bank wires if at All possible.

What did your bank tell you when you followed up on the check they never collected on?

Hello, this is my first time cashing (Requested & Approved 12/19, Check from north Received 12/23) but had a question about a depositing issue. I tried depositing through an ATM (bank that rhymes with sh*tty bank), but it didn't work so I took it inside to the teller. After 20 minutes with the teller and manager, the manager told me they couldn't deposit the check and asked where I opened the account... opened in NY, but I live in CA now.... and said that might be the issue. He also said the only other option is to send it off to collections for a $30 fee. The check is only for $150 so I didn't think it was worth doing that. Does anyone know of any issue for bank accounts opened in NY? Should I just take it to another branch?

Try Walmart. I cashed a check I got from LiveAce there w/ no problems. Check was from New York. When you say up north, do you mean it's from Canada? If so, not sure if Walmart would cash it. Couldn't hurt to try. $3 fee for checks under $1000(?) and $6 for anything bigger. Or get the AmEx Bluebird prepaid card from Walmart, and use the mobile check deposit feature that's on the Bluebird app. Bluebird has some of the lowest fees for a prepaid card, so while you'll get hit w atm fees and/or monthly fees (think it might not even have monthly fees tbh), it'd be a lot less than the $30 for it to be sent to collection.

If all else fails, look up check cashing places in your area and try them. Most have reasonable rates for this type of service.

Yes, check is from Canada but I don't think check cashing places would take international checks?

From reading the last few pages of this thread, it appears that others had problems trying to cash an international check at a check cashing joint.
