Well, I hemmed and I hawwed. Then I realized the truth. How pissed off would I be at myself if I let my greedy ex-wife get her hands on my $4500. I would be super-duper pissed and very very bummed. That and the fact that my last check by courier came quick, as did Cobalt's, and the decision was easy. I called BoDog and had them convert my wire of $4500 to a $3000 and a $1500 check.
Both chicks I talked to at customer service sounded heavily russian or something. I could barely understand either one of them. The supervisor kept telling me that one of the two checks would be charged $50, I think it was the first one. You know what though, I don't even care. The checks get here quick and there is virtually zero chance my wife can get her hands on it. Peace of mind is well worth the $50...as long as they aren't bodog's special "rubber checks"...
Keeping my fingers crossed,
Spoad
