On September 26 I requested a payout for the amount of $2k. They told me my only option was bank wire and requested my bank information. After I gave my information they said they couldn't process the payout in USD so would euros be fine? I said, sure. They changed their mind and said USD would be OK, but then again told me they were finally sending euros. All this took about 10 days, and their customer service guy (Kemmy) called me on October 3rd saying the wire has been finally sent and I'll get the amount within 10 business days.

On October 16th or so I sent an email asking when I was going to get the money and I was told to wait until the end of the week and if I didn't see the amount on Friday I should contact them. Well, what do you know, the money didn't hit my account on Friday. I contacted them and this is what I got:

In regard to your payout with Reference Number xxxx dated Monday, September 26, 2011 for the amount of US$ 2000.00 was canceled as we were unable to send your Bank Wire payout to the information we had on file. As soon as we realized about this, we asked you to submit new bank wire information, but did not get any response from you.

I was never told the wire had been canceled. In fact, until only a couple of days ago they told me to wait until the end of the week to see if the funds came in. And now they're telling me the wire wasn't even sent. So if they knew the wire had been canceled why would they ask me to keep waiting?

I've never had a payout problem with Bodog before, no bounced checks ever, but I am really scared for my money now. This goes beyond incompetence. They've flat-out lied to me and I am very disappointed with this unethical behavior.
I am really sorry to hear about your troubles, can you please send me your account number so I can ask a senior CS manager to look into this ASAP?

Thank you!
Becky

Most people recommend going to the bank where it's drawn in order to cash it. Personally, I don't think I've ever done that. I just deposit into the ATM.

Has anyone ever dealt with a VISA eft b4? is this normal to take so long? the approval message from bodog said i should expect it in 5 days which seems reasonable.

CS keeps blaming it on a backlog caused by the canadian thanksgiving on the 10th...

My question bodog becky is if you cant handle a simple holiday as thanksgiving what the hell are you guys gonna do at christmas? all this tells me is not to bet bodog in a month with a holiday in it if you want to get paid in a reasonable timeframe.

I'm not impressed with Bodog either. I requested payouts:

$2000 9/22 via check. Received in 10 business days. cashed at local bank. WooHoo!

Then:

$6000 9/26 via wire. Cancelled by Bodog 10/19 converted to check. Still waiting
$800 10/10 via check. Nothing not even tracking number.
$2000 10/11 via check. Nothing not even tracking number.

For the last two, I have emailed them over and over and I get the same response "waiting for tracking numbers

If you click on their emails you can see where they cut and paste the response.

This is getting very frustrating. The entire time I was contacting them in regard to the wire I got the "Holiday" excuse. Now I guess there is another one? I agree. How are they going to handle the Christmas season?

Dude just chill, you will get your checks. More than likely by the end of the week.

surprise, a new poster that is mashing buttons about a payout requested 15 and 16 days ago

they're probably trying to figure out why you requested $800 one day and then $2000 immediately the next day, all at the same time trying to figure out if they can bunch in your other $6k

I wouldn't be surprised if your 800 and 2000 requests come together as one check for $3000.

Don't be surprised either if you have to wait 2 more weeks for your $6k (possibly in $3k increments one week at a time)

Dear anybody who currently plays poker online from the USA,
You are likely to experience problems receiving a payout. Your bankroll may also be lost due to government and/or poker site actions (see Full Tilt and UB). If you cannot handle either of these scenarios, you should quit online poker or dramatically reduce your expectations of payout reliability in the current environment.

FWIW my check deposited 10/14 has yet to bounce, it was requested on 10/2 for those curious

I requested the $800 Rapid Transfer (max) and was going to request the rest via check. Bodog said I could not get a payout via RT so THEY converted to a check instead of just cancelling it. So therefore I had to request 2nd payout for the remainder.

my check cleared for 1950. I got an email that said my wire has been processed by the processor on 10/24/2011 it said it takes about an average for 5 days to appear on my bank statement. Will update further as soon as more information comes available.

Spoad Saga continued:

Amount: $4500
Method: Wire
Req'd: 9/08
Approved: 9/14
Wire Cancelled: 10/07
Checks Approved: 10/08 ($3000 & $1500)
Check Arrived ($3000): 10/20
Deposited: 10/20
Bounced: Not Yet

It has been an epic battle trying to get my cashout from Bodog, but things are looking better. The wire option for US players is obviously a complete disaster...do not go this route if you are in the US. Bodog did the same thing to me as many other 2+2 posters, lagged, denied, and continuously asked for "a few more days" on the wire. Finally they relented and were pretty quick to convert my wire to two checks (after 24 total days of waiting on the wire). After having my withdrawal converted to a check it took 12 total days for the first check ($3000) to get to my door. I guess that Bodog waits about 7 days between sending out additional checks so the next one for $1500 should be a week behind it, right? Let's hope so...

The check was drawn off of the second biggest North American bank (WF). I went there with the intention of cashing it on the spot. However, the teller stated I needed to get the check verified since I did not have an account with them. Went to account manager's desk to get check approved. She approved my information and then attempted to call the writer of the check (from somewhere in Colorado - I am in California). I receptionist answered and fairly quickly transferred the bank rep to a voice mail). I was getting a little nervous at this point because I didn't want account manager asking me 21 questions. I went with the story that I did internet advertising work and got paid per site click referrals.

Anyways, account manager told me that I would have to wait for check to get approved before cashing! Might take a day or two for them to approve it, WTF? My other option was to open an account with them, and funds would be available the next day. Decided to open account with WF. Did this on Thursday night, funds were available next day, withdrew $2980 and prayed to god that check wouldn't bounce. Tried to check on my balance last night and was locked out of my account. I thought oh Sh$#! I got Bo-Dogged!!!

Called the bank this morning and it turns out that I closed my last account with them 5 years ago and had an outstanding check for $120, so they put a freeze on this account. Thank God that was the only issue. I am pretty certain that Bodog's check will clear as it is drawn from the same bank and it has been almost a week since I deposited the check. Hopefully the $1500 will come soon and cash with less hassle.

- Spoad

P.S. Wife still acting crazy....

You were pretty lucky to get a wire in 11 business days (especially considering Candian Thanksgiving!). Sounds like most people are not getting wires at all from B-Dog. There checks have been reliable for me so far. From here on out, it's strictly check cashouts for me...

How long was it in your account before you discovered it did not go through?

I recently deposited a check last Monday and it has gone through along with 5other checks since Black Friday.

I just came back to poker after about a year off and started playing on Bodog. I made my first two cashout requests this week, and the first one it's only been about 5 business days, the second one yesterday so I'm holding tight. Not too worried as I am looking at this money as "eventually" coming and not spending it even in my mind before it is here.

I had one question for everyone, and it will probably sound stupid. Everyone mentions depositing in an ATM. Is there any reason you deposit in the ATM as opposed to in the bank itself? The reason I ask, is I am out of the country for awhile and I have a family member who has access to my bank account. They are going to deposit the check for me. Is there any reason they should use an ATM instead of going in? I've never had a problem depositing the checks in person before.
