First you can't play past a flop with them since you're basically all in by the turn so that takes away a huge chunk of the game (turn and river play) which is where good players get their biggest advantage.

Second it forces you to change your style of play pre. I have to tighten up the ranges I raise with when they're in the blinds or behind me which is super annoying and just makes the games tighter.

Third having the little roach stacks at the table that are just there waiting for big hands to double up with is like having some homeless guy following me around begging for change. It's just the principle that they are only there to risk as little as possible and will only give action when they have top 5 hands. I mean they're a waste of a seat just trying to pick the crumbs off the floor while the rest of the table eats.

It's like easy as hell to spot the fish from the grinders and super easy to play against them once you know but they ruin games. More than 1 and I leave the game every time and that is where my frustration is coming from.
Oh, one more thing....they adapted a strategy against you so now maybe you need to do the same against them. Everybody is free to play poker the way that they wish.

You seem to be the moron. Corporations monitor the web for anything that relates to them, similar to the way search engines crawl the web. In this way, they can then respond to complaints or accolades that they discover. So Comcast does not have a guy out their reading 2+2 specifically.

Who said I didn't lol? Every reg has a strategy against them. It's not like it's hard to play against short stacks lol. My point which I clearly made is that it's an annoying strategy to have to play and it ruins the games. It's not poker. It's like infusing hyper turbos sng's into a cash game. There's not too may regs that prefer a table of short stacks.

Like is it too much to ask for deep tables?

My favorite thing about short stackers is that they really rile up the nits here.

Uh yeah so actually I'm the laggiest player from 50nl to 200nl lol. Which means I have to tighten up with short stacks at the table. So normally at a table of full stacks where I'm opening 45s+ I now have to tighten up when a few short stacks enter. That's when I have to play like a nit lol. Nit's don't have much of an issue with ss's as they're only waiting for good hands to play anyway lol which also isn't poker.

But thx for chiming in.

Like go the lobby and pay attention to avg pot sizes. The larger the stacks the larger the avg pots and vice versa. Short stacking kills the action and if you're for them it's probably cuz you're a nit or one of them.

LOL, exactly my point. Try to make post that even slightly resembles disagreeing with someone whining about short stackers and they throw a class A temper tantrum. Also note the accusation that because I posted something, I must be one of them.

Unfortunately I live in a repressive state and Bovada seems to be the only online site willing to accept residents of my state. Also I am not a super experienced player, but I have taken both the WPT Boot Camp and the WSOP advanced cash boot camp in the last two years so I do have an idea of when to fold and when to bet, but I can't seem to win on Bovada. I'll have what appears to be the winning hand, say pocket aces or two pairs say Kings and Queens go all in after the flop (on the flop only one card of each suit, very uncoordinated) only to find my opponent who went all in with maybe 56 off suited draws a flush as the turn and river are all of his/her suit. This happens way too often. My other problem with the site is that when I am playing two are more tables at once, I often notice that the hole cards for both hands are the same. Maybe As6h and the other hand is Ah6s. And this may happen 3 or 4 times an hour. What's up with that. I don't trust Bovada, maybe eventually I'll be able to move to a more progressive state but in the meantime I'll just keep my buy ins to a minimum or maybe go back to Zynga where I was able to run 500 chips up to almost 12 million. Too bad Zynga's all play money. Thanks for letting me rant, I just can't take it anymore with them, it's too tilted against me.

World poker tour. Both the WPT and WSOP offer two and three day academies on how to play Texas holdem. The WSOP academy included an student tourney (came in 3rd) with the winners from the years tourneys competing for a seat in the WSOP including entrance fee and money for expenses. Due to the intense nature of the academies they call them boot camps. Enjoyed them both immensely plus your instructors are often bracelet winners with million dollar winnings that can be verified online. Last year the fall WSOP boot camp even offered the opportunity to stay an extra couple of days to attend the WSOP final table and go behind the scenes to meet the participants. Would have liked to attend that one but I had sinus surgery and couldn't fly.

the 100k was probably replaced by an even higher gtd tournament from the BDPO championship series. See above

Luckily I don't smile much. My problem is happy feet. To counteract that I have to tap my feet for no reason to try and hide my tell.

After Black Friday both schools dropped the class portion for online poker. However at the time I took the classes it was still included in the WPT's workbook.

Has anyone deposited via western union smoothly recently? From skimming the thread it sounds like it generally works.

What is the process like, can it be done purely online?

Wish they would just accept bitcoin.

Expert tolling going on with the boot camps and stuff. Asap, whining about SSers is akin to complaining about rush hour traffic. Leave 15 minutes earlier ldo

At least you're right that it's the LAGtards that have issues with short stackers and not the nits.

And if it's actual poker you're looking for you'll be glad to know that there's a good number of stud games available.
