Nothing, Bovada is my main squeeze and has been for some time. I was just defending the guy who said the random drawings may be rigged towards rec players. I agree with him.

Personally, the last thing I want is for Bovada to put $$$ into the pockets of my competition, i.e. net winning players. I am all for the "rigged" draw in favor of the fish, so that at least I can win some portion of that money off of them, instead of jerking off variance in a negative sum game with other profitable regs.

Bovada isn't even attempting to market these winners other than announcing them one time in an email. So what difference does it make who wins? Joe rec isn't going to know Sam F is a rec player and get all jacked up by it and start playing more.

For all I know, Jack S in Iowa is a full ****ing time grinder, a winner, a loser, a rec player. It doesn't matter. Quit losing sleep.

So tired of complainers and class envy.

Hello all
I finally decided to deposit on Bovada and I figured I would share my story in case it would help any new players unsure about the process.

I went to my local CVS and got a NetSpend card. I had heard that this card was generally working from Bovada's customer service. But I was nervous because it didn't say anything on it about international transactions as far as I could tell.

I loaded the card with $105 and paid CVS a $4.95 load fee. The extra $5 in the $105 was to cover any fee that NetSpend might charge me.

I got the card home and activated the card. I had heard that you needed to wait to use the card that they mail you but I wanted to try anyway. The $100 deposit worked with no problems

I checked my NetSpend transaction page and it looks like they charged a $1 fee and there was no fee from Bovada because it was my first deposit.

I hope this helps anyone on the fence about depositing.

I wouldn't be shocked if they are rigged.

That about sums it up.

But go ahead and keep playing to earn more points and get more entries because you might win the trip to Ireland or some other pile of horse crap that you don't want. Play online to win money, but don't expect to win the random drawings because it isn't gonna happen.
I've got a lucky draw ticket a couple months ago....didn't run that we'll I'm the tourney though

FWIW, there's probably a TON more rec players than regular players. Then again, a given regular player is getting more draw entries than a given rec player...

You obviously didn't read the last couple pages. I don't blame you...

Yeah that's my point. FTR, I really don't care, I'm a winning player content getting nothing but profits. I was just defending the guy who said its likely they cater to rec players which I believe.

+1, I sort of don't care either, there's plenty of money on Bovada to gain.

They might pick promotions that cater to the rec players, but I don't necessarily think they are "rigging" the promo draw so that a rec ends up winning in. Instead, they are picking a promo structure that will favor the large number of recs on the site.

Haha but in the big picture it sort of doesn't matter...

Will someone please give me the parameters that determine for Bovada who is a reg and who is a rec.

I want to make sure I mimic the one that I am not just to **** with them. I'm sure it will screw everything up from the RNG to the promo drawings. Yee-ha!

volume, time, and bottom line.

To mimic a winning reg, is ez, just start winning money consistently over time with sufficient volume .

Doubleups parameters for bovada Promotional Rigtard scam are as follows:

Losing players - you will get better points to cash offers than everybody else and told you're thrown in a drawing which you have a chance to win as well

Small stakes winning players (winners < 30k annually) - You will occassionally get extra promotional offers though not as good as the losing players and will also be able to be able to win drawings

Mid-High Stakes winning players (30k or more annually) - How you have stuck around this long we are not even sure. We've capped your tables @ 4, made tables anonnymouse, etc etc. If you even think you're getting points for cash lol @ you. Also, we will e-mail you once a week saying you have 387 entries to a drawing for a trip to Ireland, however, you have a better chance of getting hit by lightning on a sunny day than us footing the bill for you to go. Also, please stop e-mailing us about rakeback or we'll decrease your table limit to 2 instead of 4.

Playing online casino games is stupid, but I enjoy it sometimes so I say wtf. My warning is that the casino games seem different this last week. They are draining funds much faster than usual. Could be a sign that bovada is close to pulling a black friday. I don't know but this info may help someone.
Good luck all.

Just thought I would let everyone know that I recently received $100 from the Vegas Draw promotion. Net winner, but have not withdrawn lately. Made two deposits in last two months. About 300 points/daily. Been on site since 2008. Whether you believe me or not is up to you, but it is actually possible to win!

What I do when I prepare to shove is open the rebuy window and be ready to reload instantly if I lose the hand.

Not me.

I stand up
punch the wall
berate the play of the donk that just felted me by screaming at the screen*
curse some more
say, "f*** you"
sit back down
rebuy

Missing one hand does not seem like such a big deal to me.

*every other time it is the "randomness" that I curse.
