Congrats Pius Heinz…..

and the rest of the
2011 November 9.

So how do you think the FT played, final three, heads up
etc.?

Compare to prior years.
Best yet imo.

My only complaint is that heads up seemed a bit passive
but still very well played with only a couple of mistakes.

Most impressive hand? I still give it to the QQ Heinz
play versus O’Dea.

You mean the guy who had the chip lead like 90% of the time and couldn't finish a player who was card dead? Yeah, well deserved.

Ben Lamb.. What the ****. One of the ME's all time great collapses, if not THE all time greatest.

sick HU battle.. 3-betting light 4-betting light 5-bet jam.. bluff raising on the flop.. thin value betting
and the KQo vs J9o hand was sick and heinz's shove with two pair (89s) was really creative

Didn't expect stazsko to call from behind chasing his draw, when he didn't get out of line and played very cautiously in those situations

LoL Please explain to me why he "deserved" it? Because he made 3 straights, had KK, AQ, AQ, AJ and made 2 pair on several occasions while there was a 50 + stretch where the BEST hand Pius had was 77? He DESERVED it because he got better cards?!? His play was less than stellar. One of the few times he 4-bet was with an A-2 ifrc... his C-bet numbers were low... he would have been out much sooner had he not ran better. The better playeer won.

Stazsko was hitting everything. I think Pius played the best HU. Good player well deserved to both of them.

Can somebody give a short rundown of Lambs exit? Seems to get a lot of heat for his play.

Pius deserved it tbh. Played great all of Sunday, just was super card dead today and managed to maintain composure for most of it. And obv being signed by PokerStars is an omen to win the Main Event.

Congrats to Pius, not bad for coming in to the FT 7th in chips. When he won the QQ hand against Eoghan deep down I knew he was going to take it down. The better player won.

Crippled first hand with his KJo vs 77 all in pre. He shoved and got called. MS won the hand.

He was gone 4th hand very short stacked.

Heinz is a sicko and I love him for it. But he really did make some ludicrous plays.

It's almost as if he wanted to lose. I saw the interview he did Monday afternoon and he seemed out of it a bit. Maybe exhausted? Nervous? Just choked?

ben lamb new wsop biggest blowup for sure, 2day blowup too, surprised he didnt learn from his mistakes, me personally id need to know how someones playing before i 4bet jam, what if staskzo had a "im gonna be super tight early idea in his head" and then 3bet lamb, lamb should know what his players strategy is going in before he jams like that, so bad

-o'dea should have finished better
-congratz to heinz, well played.(i'm expecting him to spew his money at nosebleed cashgames)
-phil collins,i just dont understand.
-belize guy,how could he make the FT?
-lamb(pushed little edges hard,i guess)
-stazcko,nice guy.
-makievyski,shame he was short.
-holden,short
-gianetti,loved the way he played the FT like a live cash game.

it was fun to watch, but i'd still prefer railing a cash game with full tilt pros.

If memory serves he had a sick run on Day 7 and folded a lot on Day 8.

I'm glad you can definitively say that it is so bad. How are your MTT results?

why stazsko raise-folded that q6s on 45jss flop is beyond me...lost the title there...other hands where played passively but good. Heinz deserved it.

Obv most impressive play Pius made was not the QQ get in but his turning 98s 2p into a bluff on the 4straight 3flush board

Am i the only one that is dumbfounded?

That seemed to be some of the weirdest heads up play ever. I mean both players seemed to be pretty card dead. Altho i think Stazko did get a nice run of cards. Stazkos heads up play seemed somewhat spewy. I was pretty impressed as i thought Hienz was going to walk over Stazko.

Anyone else think Stazkos 4 bet shove w AQo was bad? like i wouldn't mind someone to talk about the hand as i am totally baffled by it.(i would like to think i am a decent heads up player) I thought that would be the bottom of Stazkos range of calling there. Everything else beats Hienz. Anyone agree or disagree.

Hienz did have alot of heart when he had the chips. And i liked the fact that he changed gears quite well when his stack size changed.

Also thought Antonio Esfandari did an awsome job doing the commentary on the play.
