Todd Brunson mentioned the "Jap" in an old tweet from July 2013:

“Just had dinner with the Jap and another friend. check came I had the audacity to suggest we split it 3 ways. The Jap had a temper tantrum..He was stomping his feet like a little kid and complaining loudly, I thought he might actually cry.”
Who is it ?

So he risked being banned from Bellagio and having his rep ruined for five big bets? It seems more likely it really was just a mistake.

Yellowtail Executive Chef did play in a charity poker tournament, which Chau Giang won.

Remember when those players had the audacity to dispute a comment of mine that if the best 200-400 player in each game were allowed to form a tag team with each other, the team would be a favorite if they played in the 2000-4000 mixed game that was going steadily at the time?

I don't see your point.

Sounds like sour grapes from what Chris King wrote about back in 2010, A little payback?

Chau still plays the double deck pitch blackjack at The Orleans all of the time.

"Final Hint. On the continent my ancestors come from: his name is used for hello and goodbye"

Obv is Chau... kinda sad, from all accounts Chau was big winner in the Big game for many years - I saw him during the WSOp last year playing $5/10 or $10/20 (can't recall exactly) NLH at Aria with about a $1500 stack and thought it was odd that he would be playing so low

Kind of a chicken **** way to out someone. (30 questions and a riddle) If you really saw something, and want to bring it up, just man up and tell it the way it is.

I think it would be more understandable and maybe justifiable if it happened while the "Jap" guy was still at the table, and not in the bathroom.

Todd used the words "stealing" and "sad" and he tweeted within 5 minutes.

He makes it sound like his japanese friend is some sort of pet.

Possible Chau is on one of his two day grinding benders and their stacks were close and it was an honest mistake and Brunson has an old axe to grind?
