Oh, say can you see by the dawn's early light
What so proudly we hailed at the twilight's last gleaming?
Whose broad stripes and bright stars thru the perilous fight,
O'er the ramparts we watched were so gallantly streaming?
And the rocket's red glare, the bombs bursting in air,
Gave proof through the night that our flag was still there.
Oh, say does that star-spangled banner yet wave
O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave?

This is what happens when you push industries under ground. As everyone else does I really feel for the US players. I don't have much faith in UK/EU not interfering in poker although the British islands gain massively from it so maybe I'm wrong....

I cashed out small amount to see if it would work about 2 hours ago, and it was instantly approved and seemed like normal. I received one about a week ago in 2 days.

Granted you really have to trust the buddy very much.
This is what i just did on FTP and strongly suggest US players do also. Unfortunately all my Stars money is locked.

As much as I don't want to believe this. This is probably the real deal and will happen. So, so sad.

RIP online poker.

You think a sophisticated place like PS has all their money in a USA bank?
IMO this will be an inconvienence nothing more. You think politicians are going to let millions of voters get screwed.

Should I cancel my cashout from victory poker that's been pending from two weeks ago?
04-15-2011 , 05:56 PM
I live in Forida and can log onto Stars but no luck sitting down or withdrawing. At least the check cleared on Wednesday.

In the UK. Trying to cash out. Getting "we could not establish a secure connection...." error. Anyone else?
04-15-2011 , 05:57 PM
I obviously realize that there are thousands of people this hurts more than myself. but that doesn't mean i don't have a right to complain as well.

I do feel for the people who do this for a living and hope that this whole situation turns out ok for them more than myself.

From the documents on Google:

They (DoJ) know about all off the accounts:

They want 2.5B and all the rights to FTP, PS, and AP:

I guess the good internet players will have to move to Washington DC.

I hear summers are humid there, but I do like cherry blossom trees.

My prediction: Govt Shuts down everything. Govt opens up US run site. Another boom occurs. Profit.

Fantastic to see a Chinese player on every table at Stars.
