All you people scaremongering about the poker world need to chill the **** out. Cheating/corruption go on in pretty much every industry, sport and business. Even regulated sports and governments there is corruption. Whilst I don't condone these scammers behavior at all, am appalled by their actions and they are without doubt total scum - you have got to be a fool to tar the whole industry with the same brush. Yes we have had a fair few scandals over the years, they suck and shouldn't have happened, but shady **** goes on everywhere and even when poker gets regulated in the USA there will still be shady **** going on, where there's money involved cheating and corruption will exist. Chill out and get real.

Pretty sure you're the one who is not chill, bro.

Would it be possible for someone in the know to check the software section of this forum for trojans embedded within programs. It really should be a prerequisite for posting there that your software is tested by a respected poster.

+1 for trying to be cool and funny on an internet poker forum where you clearly spend too much time - so why not instead of taking what I said out of context and argue the actual point of my post a little? How is it not scaremongering to tarnish a whole industry based on a few scammers actions?Cheating and corruption are rife throughout the world from the gambling industry to charity organisations and every industry inbetween, it amazes me that people get so shocked there is cheating going on in the poker world, bro.

there's much more scamming/cheating going on in online poker than pretty much any other sport/industry in the world. id be scared too, especially if youre playing for very large sums of money

This could end up being a pretty big story. It's not WTFOMGBBQ surprising but is definitely headline worthy.

lol are you even serious? I feel sorry for you if you think online poker is more corrupt than say your own government or your favourite sport (wheres theres infinetly much more money involved). Doesnt mean I'm not scared of being cheated or these scumbags being outed though.

Couldnt agree more, all I was saying was its hardly surprising and people screaming 'omg this doesnt even make me wanna play poker, wah wah' need to get a grip.

anyone even wanna guesstimate the $ figure on the amount of money frauded/stolen from the online poker playing community? the # must be absurdly high, just how much does a sites security department investigate and watch accounts playing HS or depositing/withdrawing high $ amounts

I find it kind of weird that OMAR LITTLE is basically a hero on this forum but real life Omars like ADZ124 are pariahs.

Lynch mob gonna lynch mob I guess.

There is some shadiness and ADZ needs to come clean, IMO. Those twitters were proof of nothing. Could have been sarcasm or could have been an admission that he was told he could use a Trojan that Samer had but he chose not to.

So we should just relax and accept corruption as an inavoidable aspect of all human experience? Not my style.

And also.. lol@even governments have corruption
Governments are the pinnacle of corruption, a manifestation of
The human incapacity to be decent.

Lokoisback is a finnish poker pro and a friend of mine, and he is in no way involved in this. Pretty ridiculous to make such accusations with nothing to back them up with

I don't recall seeing anyone say there's more corruption in poker than government. There's a lot of posts though, so I could have missed that. As for the sport thing, you could be right. You could also be wrong. I don't see that you provided evidence for either side. And there probably is a lot more money involved in, say, the NFL. The difference to me is that it's not my money. I suppose that's different if you meant sports betting. Though they are closely related, not everyone that plays poker, bets sports. For example, I don't.

Alot of people have hit all the main points about him allready so I'm not going to re-state what has allready been said. Unfortunately, nothing can really be done about getting my money back so all I can do is vent in frustration. With black Friday, this scandal, and running bad over the past few months its driving me insane.

I also felt as tho ADZ could possibly see my cards a couple years ago and eventually stopped playing at the same tables. Wish I'd have made stars do a thorough investigation now.

Jeah, i've read through this thread but accusing registra and iamsoso also seems like random namedropping. I don't know these guys and have no info whatsoever about scamming. But i probably played over 20k hands with both and i never even considered anything funky going on. Their graphs are also typical for shortstackers.

This is a common fallacy, criminals and cheaters can be clever too! It's like when people say about winning poker players, 'if he was really that smart, he wouldn't be playing poker.'
