If he had to grind for a living all this time I think he'd be doing just fine.

I played 1-2 NL with KL at Foxwoods a few years ago during the WPT. Everyone got wasted and she took the whole table to dinner and gave 1% away to a few of the kids if they sweated her. She only came in 5th for 257K. <fan>

hmm I think her statement about lederer is true. but at the same time I also think WITHOUT lederer, full tilt wouldn't be as big as it is now. I think lederer played a big part in getting all the big names to sign with full tilt in the beginning when noone even heard of full tilt.

In his sister's book, she says he was running a sportsbook in Vegas before the poker boom. I think it was illegal, as it stopped rather abruptly.

So he does have gaming executive skills.

Which from my understanding is what happened. they asked him then backed out on him when he got arrested and was such a coke head because he was too much of a risk at the time.

I got this info from the one time I watched the Scott Matusow podcast. This was his basic comment on it when someone asked why mike wasn't a stock holder in the company. I may have dramatized it a bit though.

Kathy Leibert tilts me beyond belief. Her sensationalist claims and purposeful unpopular positions/comments are her only way of staying in the news and she knows it. She is the equivalent of a C-grade celebrity leaking a sex tape to stay in the magazines.

His sister's book doesn't say any such thing. It says he was placing bets for a smart sports better or as part of a sports betting syndicate, and they got busted and charged with running a sportsbook.

No idea what's true, but this is what the book really says.
