Are they likely to be hiring technical staff if pen hasn't been put to paper?
04-04-2012 , 08:23 AM
Not getting too much info. Cannot even give me a start date for those job positions (although i have other sources working on that) But has basically confirmed that the jobs advertised on jobs.ie are legit and there will be more postings in the near future.

Some of the more popular ones are that FTP could possibly use are

-using internal personnel to find a new workforce
-using connections with partners, subcontractors,...
-for lower end jobs typically the companies specialised in finding personnel through their client database (don't know the english term, but I think most western countries have a few national ones)
-hiring from schools or training programs

and of course the big up and coming one via social networking sites .
In my experience, if you want to get a lot of people in a hurry you outsource the initial selection an short listing process to a single company. This is even more likely if you previously let a lot of your HR people go.

Orinic isn't a society, but one of the many names that together make up Full Tilt. It hasn't demanded a license, but put in an application for a Category 2 license with the AGCC. The information is all on the AGCC website and has been linked earlier in the thread.

Yup

You don't wanna be trawling through hundreds of cv's (half of which would be people applying for any job in the current economic climate) You use recruiters to sift through the chaff and they will send on the best xxx for the interview process. Cuts down on a lot of time and free's up your own HR dept for other work.

Hope I am wrong
Maybe they rehired the majority of these 180 employees?

If you read the job descriptions again most of them are in the plural meaning 13 job descriptions could actually be for 50/60 even 100 jobs.

IMO the deal is signed, but they announce it when they are ready to start.

It would be not good to announce the deal and then need more time as they estimate to reopen the side. Just my 2ct
