You know that you report winning sessions as income and deduct losing sessions as itemized deductions, right? Distributions don't matter at all. Hence, we'd have reported all our FT profit/loss on our 2011 taxes and whether or not we get paid wouldn't really matter unless we somehow definitively won't get paid... Check out the gambling legislation tax thread on taxes.

Still, saying this and calling someone incredibly stupid? If you were just claiming lumped withdrawals as profit, you still weren't filing your taxes correctly.

I hope that it's true regarding the jobs, but if you look at the pocket kings careers website, it states 'No records found' when looking in the job section :-(

Pocket kings may no longer have a HR department hence the use of a recruitment agency

While the job offers aren't 100% sure to be real, that site being empty doesn't have to mean anything. It's possible that they have no control over the domain yet, that they simply forgot, or haven't gotten around to it yet.

Of course it could be just another BS release , but it sounds pretty good, and can't be looked upon as bad news IMHO. GL all

Doubt this very much they will have to pay the recruiter for the interview process and such and as i stated already this is a well known long established recruiter in Ireland. This is looking like the real deal but i would say at least 2/3 months before opening as the process will take a while and then there is training of course.

hopefully good news, I (just like anyone else with a substantial amount of $ on FTP) really hope so..I'm trying not to put mental equity into any dates anymore but something makes me think at least some announcement will come on or before April 15, even if its just another stall. In the mean time im seriously considering selling my balance becuase this wait is becoming agonizing.

Have sent an email to a lot of people i know in the recruitment side of things here in Dublin ( monster.ie morgan and mckinley etc) and asked them to let me know if pocket kings are hiring from the programming, customer support side of things and to let me know if they hear anything back.

I know Gary, he's a super nice guy and he always liked his job at PK and said he would be happy to work there again especially if the more noxious elements of the senior management were long gone.

Anyways, hope this job posting is legit.

Hey, wasn't Orinic Limited that 'recently added geographic sub-division of FTP', whose license it wasn't revoked just suspended by the AGCC? Because I have just seen at the AGCC webpage that 'an application for a Category 2 eGambling Licence' was made by Orinic the 23rd of March 2012.

Early on in the 12-page report, Dean discussed how the AGCC licensed each of Full Tilt's entities – Filco Limited, Oxalic Limited, Vantage Limited, and Orinic Limited. Dean then noted that the AGCC "launched a special investigation into FTP to determine the appropriate regulatory action [regarding] the accusations in the unsealed indictment" stemming from Black Friday. Interestingly, the agency did so on April 20th, five days after the U.S. Government targeted PokerStars, Full Tilt, and Absolute Poker.

It is a bit fuzzy, but was not the Orinic License the one that was not revoked, but temp' suspended? If this is true, it is another small positive bit of info for a good (or at worst case) decent result.
Watch out , here come the Trolls!
