Take the difference between the 175M and the actual cost and add that to the 100 to 150M.
Now you get well over 200M.
And then subtract all the other stuff that your selective memory is forgetting about and you will come up with an entirely different number.

Or better yet, lets try to make this bubble head proof.

$440M: the amount withdrawn by the shareholders.
$330M: the amount they owe.

Which means in the entire history of the company, they made a bit more than $100M.

To be fair that's still an impressive number with the phantom deposits, seizures and processor thefts.

I just want all this to end, either good or bad! My br on ftp was about 1500 bucks and if i would have spent my time at mcdonalds instead of reading this thread, i would have the money doubled by now

We have even lost the next weeks to wait for.

And the millions they wasted on their nepotism...

The amounts withdrawn and owed by shareholders don't change the profit they made with one cent .

But never mind, you just said they made so much money they could pay back all the balances and still have 100M left. That is very hard to imagine, but I got to agree on that.

Sound like the Toronto maple Leafs Motto. Instead of next week it's Next year.

No announcement? What happened to a special announcement an a Special day? someone referred to a few pages back.

Without reading it I can tell you that it likely just interprets the one-week extension the same way as lawyers in here did yesterday, with optimism that the short time frame means a possible/potential resolution this week. Wouldn't be shocked if they just read the forums and rephrased.

Update: Having now read it, my answer stays the same.

Jeff is still active in the FTP ****storm, no idea what exactly he's doing these days but he's deff still involved.

BITAR SURRENDERED IN NYC! According to an e-mail from him to Dublin staff posted by the poster who originally broke the story. (See other thread about it)

To all Dublin Staff,

By now you probably have heard that I have returned to the US to deal with civil and criminal case that are pending against me in New York. We have all worked hard over the last 15 months to preserve Full Tilt’s assets and potential in order to provide for the repayment of all players, and that continues to be our top priority. It is as important as ever that we all do everything possible to make that happen and, hopefully our deal with Poker Stars will very soon make our goal a reality. My return to the US is part of this process.

I am particularly grateful to all of you here in Dublin for your hard work, patience and understanding during this difficult time. I believe that your hard work and dedication should not go unrecognized, and we have made arrangements for Poker Stars to guarantee all July salaries. You should therefore have no concern about coming to work during this period. After that, we expect that your employment contracts will be assumed by the buyer of the company’s assets.

For those that need to reach me, I expect to continue to be available by email and phone starting late Monday, New York time.

In the meantime, please refer any operational questions to **REDACTED**, and any HR questions to **REDACTED**.

Thank you all again.

Kind regards,

Raymond J Bitar

wow i can see this coming to a end now. few points like ---Poker Stars to guarantee all July salaries.

one thing here which is clear they just be done.----hopefully our deal with Poker Stars will very soon make our goal a reality. My return to the US is part of this process.

I find it hard to believe that Bitar would voluntarily surrender unless the deal is done.

I was thinking about this too. It's just strange that the language of his e-mail doesn't say it is a sure thing, yet, he is showing up in NYC where they can just straight up arrest him. I'm guessing his availability tonight means he is flying over today and meeting with DOJ in the morning.

I think I'd still like to see an official source on this one ...
