I for one think it's charming that Mason doesn't let beef go. Why live your life not letting others know how you feel about them? Especially since no one is debating the substance of what he's saying, which is that Daniel thinks he would have won if he had been a little bit more lucky.

I have to say now this is all over from an entertainment point of view this has been fantastic. There is just so much good stuff in how this was put together and played out.

All the drama around both players and the history coming into the match. Kicking it off with a live session which was fun to watch. All the drama throughout the match around stuff like preflop charts, what data can be used, limping, etc. Betting lines for people to get involved. The post-match interviews were a great addition. They were often insightful and entertaining in equal measure. Seeing how top players approach the game these days at the highest level and what is required to learn GTO. Getting to know both players a little better throughout the few months. All the different streams providing really high-level coverage of the match-all with their own unique style which catered to different audiences in the poker world. Watching the match itself especially when one of them was getting buried was so much fun. Finishing it off by watching both players discuss the match and hands is awesome too.

It was a really great show and hats off to both players for making it happen.

I personally really enjoyed listening to Daniel talk about about lucky sausages.

With your qualifications on the subject maybe you should step into the heads up streets against Daniel? I am pretty sure Daniel would be willing.

I just started watching the podcast and the very first thing they bring up is how Dnegs tilted Polk when he started tanking every hand.

LOL it feels like Dnegs has done some mental gymnastics to make himself believe that while he may have lost a lifechanging amount of money and taken a big blow to his ego, at least he was able to successfully needle his opponent for a few hours.

And Doug is being a good sport and not tapping the fish tank by indulging Dnegs and admitting how tilted he was and how Dneg's strategy worked.

Doug Polk is the GTO master whether he's on the poker felt or not.

This is why I can't ever get on team Negreanu again. The guy just flat-out lies whenever it serves his purposes.

Did you ever really think he was tanking because he was looking up charts (even when open tanking OTB). It was obvious he was doing to spite Doug.
