I believe Doug said he made more money off of BTC going up than he did the dnegs challenge while playing the last few months, and all of the evil empire was in crypto early so probably some of the richest ex poker players

Hell, Jason Les was just promoted to CEO of $riot blockchain a multi billion dollar btc mining company

I know Ryan is Doug's business helper and made money with poker in bitcoin, just wondering what his bet was on the match since looks like he bought the car with the profit. 250k for 1m makes sense.

Doug said in one of the interviews that one of the reasons he was feeling so much pressure to grind the sims non stop and bring his absolute A-game was because all his friends had bet a significant proportion of their net worth on him winning.

If dnegs was a sane person he would've told his friends not to bet on him. I really wonder who the yes man is that dnegs keeps around, and I REALLY want to know what happened to the last dnegs friend that told him not to do this match.

I'm a complete noob when it comes to this type of analysis. I'm assuming that red line actually says more about daniel than doug?

Wasn't aggressive enough
Didn't bluff enough
Folded to often
Got to showdown with too many hands

the two kind of go hand in hand. if you are winning a bunch in non showdown spots, you tend to be a loser in showdown spots.

Very good question. Daniel should be overjoyed to show all his draws were Very Unlucky given his passionate rants about it and pick up a nice "I told you so" win. I wonder why he hasn't done that yet.
