The best now IMO are Jamie/Brady and Gary. Joey and his pro friend are still good but for some reason think a Truck animation etc is the greatest thing ever. If you want to concentrate on stuff like that mix it up and have different animations at least if it's going to be your M.O.

GG Poker are by far the worst, Jeff is bland and his friends Brett Hanks and Egyptian or whatever are both boring knobs. That guy Kory is controversial, I like that TBH with no hole cards poker you need something to talk about, they barely use him now though.
GG stream has always been far and away the worst so maybe less variance then you think. I find the Upswing stream the least exhausting to follow.

Commenting without hole cards is difficult.

However, I have seen both players make plays that looked like bad bluffs and were called down and were bluffs. For example today DN bet 1/4 pot on the turn from the BB in a single raised pot on an AAxx, double suited board. Then DN bet pot on a blank river. I couldn't figure out what he was betting 1/4 pot with and the big river bet didn't seem to make sense with any hand. Plus DN shouldn't have a good ace having not 3-bet. DP called with bottom pair, which was good.

Turns out you're right actually. But after running it through a solver Brett Hanks is a brilliant, funny and engaging commentator on a low frequency roll.

I can't imagine watching any other stream but obviously these things are subjective. And it's not like Joey "concentrates" on the animations, he just uses them in big pots so not sure why it's a big deal. I'll take that over two low energy drones who are constantly talking about some hand they played two years ago while there's a 4 bet pot in progress.

Besides the challenge itself, he has millions in side bets. This is going to be a devastating loss for him, of course he's concerned. I mean, who wouldn't be?

The Solve For Why stream is my favorite. It's the most laid back, least annoying and has soothing background music. Berkey and Christian Soto also know what they are talking about and have a good rapport.

I've also come to like these two.

People say 'we' when they're talking about their sports team doing something, despite having no affiliation with them.

In a far less likely situation he is using the Royal 'we'.

In an even less likely situation than that, by orders of magnitude, multiple people are playing on the account.

I see. I just wondered why he didn't use the pronoun "I", as that's the correct word to use here. Saying "we" implies it's more than 1 person who is playing (we is the plural of I).

Streamers use this construction a lot to bring the audience into the game. They want the feel that it’s not the streamer that’s playing alone (so not “I’m going to raise”), it’s the streamer who is representing the team of the streamer and chat - so it’s “we’re going to raise”

His tweet seems realistic. DN won 5 sessions in a row. At this point DN has chances if DP does not have a big skill advantage now.

I must say, these little recaps from dnegs are what I look forward to the most. Very thoughtful analysis

Presumably he doesn't want to give any information on his thought process while the match is going on. I doubt he could be doing this well against Polk if those were his thought processes.
