All-in EV is obviously not anywhere near complete in terms of measuring outcome vs. expectation.

I would be interested in seeing some results from a variance calculator at this point with some assumptions about Doug's bb/100 advantage.

What’s interesting so for to me is how Daniel seems better as they get deeper, originally thought DP would have the edge but appears he’s best at 100bb stacks

Just to have a little fun, they have played 2965 hands so far and Daniel Negreanu is up $155,792 so far. That's $52.54 per hand. If you scale this up to 25,000 hands, Daniel would be expected to win $1,313,592. This also comes to 13.13 big blinds per 100 hands.

Now I doubt that Daniel will continue to win at this rate, but this is certainly a big game.

Daniel just calling again with the nuts. Pretty confident he has learned close to nothing so far during the challenge. He really runs like a god though

If Doug's winrate is 10bb/100 then he's 35% to be losing after 3k hands (at 150bb/100 std.dev.)

He's 14.5% to lose after 25k hands given these assumptions.

edit:
although the 14.5% assumes starting at zero hands. I'm to lazy to calculate chance of losing after 22k hands given current loss of 4bi. Probably around 20-25% I guess.
