14 years is wayyyyyyyyyyyyyy too harsh a sentence in my opinion. Murder is the only crime I think deserving of that length of time behind bars.

im sure if that cocaine was gonna ruin a close family members life you would still believe its 2 harsh of a sentence?? that was a crap load of blow that was gonna be snorted or rocked up somewhere, it wasnt just for show

Well personally I think we should completely end the war on drugs and legalize and regulate ALL illegal substances. But that's going off on a tangent. So I guess 5-6 years seems very fair.

you.. guess? put it into perspective motivate your "guess" and contrast it to what you think is unfair, and why.

you seem like the kind of guy who just makes up random facts/opinions just to have one(also based on you nitpicking spelling like a bully). but yeah, I "guess" it could be too harsh if it were a first offense. but sometimes you have to make a statement, maybe Saab is that statement. he got caught, there is a max sentence. he knew that, so if he plays the game he can't whine about the sentencing.

This just in from Jail: Saab is now up an incredible 246 packs of cigarettes. He is posting an unbelievable winrate of 3 cigarettes/100 hands. Absolutely amazing, kudos to Mr. Saab!

Rare for anyone to get charged with murder here, seems to often be bumped down to manslaughter. Then they get off because they could not have predicted that the one punch they threw could have caused the person to fall to the ground, hit their head and die. So yeah, you're free to go

Yeah, on the streets by drug dealers, cocaine is usually measured in kilograms, grams, half-grams, etc (metric system) but when someone in the U.S. is busted, the amount they had will be weighed usually in lbs.

Waterloo man sentenced for selling pounds of crack cocaine:
Officers with the Tri-County Drug Enforcement Task Force seized 4.7 pounds of crack cocaine and two handguns during searches of their home in September 2010.

Horacio Encinas-Moreno, 33, of Paramount, Calif., was arrested after a traffic stop in March, where a state trooper seized more than 22 pounds of cocaine, court documents show.

That is because in the U.S. we don't use the metric system (for the most part, unless you are slinging illegal drugs).
