Yeah, on the streets by drug dealers, cocaine is usually measured in kilograms, grams, half-grams, etc (metric system) but when someone in the U.S. is busted, the amount they had will be weighed usually in lbs.
Example:
Waterloo man sentenced for selling pounds of crack cocaine:
Officers with the Tri-County Drug Enforcement Task Force seized
4.7 pounds of crack cocaine and two handguns during searches of their home in September 2010.
Second man charged in cocaine case:
Horacio Encinas-Moreno, 33, of Paramount, Calif., was arrested after a traffic stop in March, where a state trooper seized more than
22 pounds of cocaine, court documents show.
That is because in the U.S. we don't use the metric system (for the most part, unless you are slinging illegal drugs).
