You're missing the point entirely. Yes, abusing cocaine will RUIN your life. Same goes for alcohol and pretty much any drug (though cannabinoids are pretty tough to get too ****ed up on). What we have right now is ZERO drug education about stuff like coke. People don't know wtf they're getting into and that's dangerous. The same goes for alcohol to an extent -- people hear hyperbolic scare tactics (omg u could get cancers!!!) and they assume it's all BS.

Regardless, I think it should be legalized and drug penalties lessened. With that said, drug penalties for trafficking need to be in place, just lessened. That would entirely defeat the purpose of legalizing drugs if just anyone could sell them. You guys sound ignorant. And yes, obviously pharmaceutical drugs are far worse then coke. Does that even need to be stated? Oxycotin=heroin. And i lol'd at the people arguing that heroin wasn't bad for you. While the majority of the effects are withdrawal/addiction, you cannot say that those aren't long term, and damaging. How many 70 year old heroin addicts do you know? Or coke addicts for that matter? Still plenty of old drunks though.
For sure -- heroin will eventually kill you even if you never OD. Abuse of opiates makes the body go nuts wrt endogenous opiods (endorphins), and that will cause all sorts of really really unpleasant side effects regardless of whether or not you're in WD/OD mode.
That said. Heroin can absolutely be used recreationally, it's just a kinda big risk to take (you better have some crazy-good self control).

Many abused drugs are regulated, but obv this doesnt work , we only need to look at the problems of pain killer abuse with in some states ,their are drs surgeries poping up just to abuse the situation and make a killing.I dont know what is the best way to lessen the impact drugs are having on our communities but to say its ok, is really blinkered and to say its ok to abuse one drug because another is worse is ******ed.
Either source this pile of hyperbole or gtfo.
