In Australian prisons you don't really have to worry about becoming someones bitch at least. Not having freedom or the ability to get laid (by females) are the only things that really suck.

also get a clue about drugs people; if alcohol is legal everything else should be too. nothing has the negative consequences of booze except for maybe methamphetamine.

and there is all this hype about heroin being the worst etc.. ALL of the full opiate agonists are basically the same vicodin (hydrocodone) oxycontin/roxis (oxycodone), dilaudid (hydromorphone), opana (oxymorphone, alot stronger than heroin btw) and these are sold pretty pure by the pharmacies and meant to hit the streets. Heroin (diacytlmorphine) is the SAME thing you will get at the ER if you complain about pain. It is non-toxic in the body (which is why there is an unlimited ceiling for tolerance) and you can be fully functional on pain killers.

a lot of the bad things about drugs stem directly from the fact that they are illegal and people are forced to do grimy things to get them.

gotta admit i still chuckle to myself on a regular basis when i think about saab showing up to the aussie millions this year and loudly starting 100/200 tables with his new horses while he hadn't even been able to afford 10/20/40 since about 2007... then getting arrested a week later...

That's a pretty heavy sentence imo compared to the kind of slap on the wrist they give out to child molesters, rapists, murderers, those who drive drunk and kill, etc etc... 90% of those cases in Australia the accused end up getting LESS time than David Saab.

Highly doubt he was only gonna get $110,000 for bringing in that much blow.

Only way I see that possible is if someone set him up with that shipment. While they investigated and caught him and his friends with this shipment, another shipment worth 100 million came in at another port. The main guys lost 7-10% by him getting busted but the main shipment made it in to the country and Saab was the unlucky patsy to go down with the ship and take the fall.
