Hey I was playing with omaha zoom 10c and encouter a weird bug, was wondering if someone else had that problem.

Sometimes when looking at the hand history replayer I just can't see my hand at all !!

So annoying when you play a few tables, lose a hand then go to the replayer and can't even seen what you had !

Anyone else got that ?

As a couple of other people mentioned, the 'are you sure you want to exit' prompt when closing the table replayer is very very annoying, especially in zoom where the replayer is used a lot and where an extra mouse click is very annoying if playing a lot of tables/hands.

It doesn't happen on normal tables, so why on Zoom where it makes even less sense...

i've never had that thing asked from me...?
(I'm on .EU so maybe they know about it and fixed it before launching that and will fix it for .COM with the next software update)

and yes the replayer is not showing hero's hand but it's come up itt a lot

Are all of you using Windows Vista? We have quite a few reports which tell us that Vista may not work, we will investigate this week. Please post in the PT thread in the Commercial Software forum with any OS details (32 bit or 64 bit), Postgres versions installed, etc. We need your help to fix this problem, thanks!

Unfortunately the Windows OS and Mac OS X operates in very different ways, we cannot create a OS X HUD for ZOOM (or Rush) due to the excessive security that Apple uses. Not much we can do unless PokerStars wants to provide tools that will allow us to access the tables on OS X, sorry.

Just came in here to say I absolutely love zoom poker, after all that whining about the waiting it feels good to write something positive.

Big pro's:

- Runs super smooth

- Lot's of hands and decisions without having to hurry thus making the optimal decision more often.

- Playing minimum a 1000 hands an hour on a laptop on the couch, having great overview of the action and no overlap. No more backpain and almost putting my head into the screen.

- Can quit anytime and startup without losing a lot of time which is the case when regular multitabling, meaning I play a lot more when I have 30 minutes/ an hour to kill.

- 50bb minimum instead of 40bb, great stuff. Also most of the time almost everybody is atleast 100bb deep, which is great. Not constanly having to break tables and starting up another while playing lots of tables at the same time is one big frustration less.

- PLO zoom is awesome!

Con's:

- No hud yet (I have HEM1, I need to switch to HEM2 or pt4 for hud?) but not a really big deal because the player pools are so huge at the moment and I have no data on players anyway

- Annoying replayer (not showing own cards at times, having to click extra to quit the replayer as mentioned by a lot of people earlier)

Can't wait for the zoom poker tournaments as earlier mentioned. I never have the time to play large tourney fields, and I don't like turbo tournament because of the shallow stacks. So this is a great solution to play bigger tournament fields deeper stacked without having to play a whole day to close a tourney.

Thanks for the info,

excuse my ignorance, I haven't searched for it yet besides browsing through some posts in this topic. But some posters say (or are atleast doubtful) HEM1 will NOT come with a hud any time zoon for zoom poker.

Is this confirmed somewhere or just pure speculation? Would be pretty lame having to buy another pokertracker software just for zoom. Especially when having a perfectly working one at the moment (minus zoom ofc). But I am afraid it is necessary in the long run.

tnx

When I click the replay button on a table just after a showdown with mucked cards it normally does not take the replayer to that hand. The replayer seems of little use in Zoom play. This was not the case in Rush.
Also it shows hero in random seats even when I’m always the same on the actual tables and my preferred seat is ticked in the display options.

They are still working on getting Zoom working with HEM2, after that they will fix it on HEM1.

If you want a zoom HUD now, install PT3 Trial or PT4 Beta and use that until HEM is fixed.

They do plan to get support for Zoom in HM1, just not for a while. HM2 will hopefully have a working HUD by Tuesday.

- The transition between tables ( the time between quick folding and getting to next table) needs to be faster (rush on ftp was 2x as fast)
- Dealing the cards needs to be faster (that delay when u can only see the back of ur cards can easily add 100h/hr or more)

I got 1.1k h/hr first time i played while ****ing around w/PT4 and stuff, pretty sure if the 2 above issues are fixed I could easily see 1.5k h/hr, prob closer to 1.6-1.7 when I get more used to playing it and more used to pt4

See a lot of people who run good just continue with superdeep stacks, saw 1400 & 700BB next to each other just a sec ago. Will be fun to see two stupidly deep stacks go at it some time.

Does no-one realise you can sit out and rebuy however much you want at any time? See a lot of 300&400BB stacks. Can't be many deep stack experts at 10nl.
