What prevents a microstakes bumhunter who plays 25NL for ex. to buy as many hand histories as he can for this stake, mark the weak players with player notes and then join the player pool but only play when he has position on a fish and the rest of the time only get involved with premium hands ?

bumhunting at classic tables - you are not playing without fish on table at all. bumhunting on zoom tables? - you cant choose tables, you have to play good tables full of regs sometimes if you want to play with fish. Also you cant buy zoom/rush poker hands (but you can buy hands from standard tables)

The same thing with mass tabling nits only they probably won't need to buy hand histories.

+1. If zoom is succesful 50NL+ FR games will die not to mention it might attract the 6 max fish at small and midstakes and depending on your current stakes that could be either very good or very bad

RUSH didnt killed games on FTP so i dont see why ZOOM should kill games on Stars
.

HurtK, I won't go along with you on this point.
Let's say that 16 6 max tables= around 1200 hands
4 zoom tables= around 1200 hands

It's not a coincidence, one would really play about 1200 hands/hour.
What does that mean?
It means that at the end of the hour, you play the exact number of hands and the number
of tables has nothing to do whatsoever with auto-piloting.

I would even say that playing 16 normal tables would make your decisions less robotic because of the fact that you always play with the same players and you know both their position and history.

I disagree with your auto-pilot argument.

What's the point of this discussion ? If you don't like zoom play normal tables.

Sorry, but you're clearly wrong. When playing 16 tables, sometimes you will have 8 or more hands going on at once! When that happens, there are way too many variables to consider to make the absolute best play you're capable of on every table. With Zoom, you only really have to focus on one hand at a time, since you can easily just sit out on the tables on which you're not involved in a big pot. I mean if regs want to keep 16-tabling regular ring games instead of 4-tabling Zoom that's fine with me, but I don't know how you can argue that it's just as easy to play well on 16 tables as it is to play well on 4.

Also,

Zoom will be terribad unless you play 9/9 on 24 tables. Now you can click a button and wait for your premium hands.

Also,
Done tons of both on Tilt, 4 tabling Zoom/ Rush in my experience is definately easier and there's much less autopiloting.

This lol. Blows my mind when people say stuff like "everybody just folds when I raise". Uhh... Raise and take the blinds all the time then?

Zoom PLO should be interesting. Rake at micros will probably be full-****** though considering a lower overall edge

Makes sense to release this at beginning of March when most people get paid. I reckon if it's not released before the 10th or so it'll be April.
